The fit is great in the front, like 23-25-26-27 Kayano I wore before. First time to buy MK version though and the back heel part is too high and rubs against my back tendon when I am running fast. Have blisters now so need to wear bandaids and cotton when I wear. Should I used scissors and just cut out the tight mesh at the back?

I can’t believe the negative reviews of this product. The shoe does have a small hole for your foot but all you have to do is open the laces a bit more. The sock/heel combo is the best of both worlds and as someone who has plantar and heel bone Spurs I can actually feel the shoe helping my foot to move correctly. After just a few days my feet are already less painful in the mornings. The toe box is breathable and the shoes aren’t the usual heavy shoe that you usually get with ASICS. The negative comments are baffling but I suppose everyone has different feet. I will be buying more pairs of these trainers as soon as the current ones I have wear down.

I think these are the most comfortablest shoes I have ever had from your ramge of Kayano shoe. I love the way the whole shoe wraps and moulds around your fooot, making it soo snug and fitting. Love them and the Maroon colour.

I have been wearing Addis ultra-boost for the past 8 years. Since the uncaged has been discontinued, it took me ages to find an alternative with similar characteristics. I finally found Kayano 28, from now on, it will be my one and only footwear.
I've been wearing Kayanos for 20yrs and love them. I couldn't get my usual wide fitting womans shoe recently and was advised to look at the men's standard fit as they were the same. It was sale time and stocks low so I could only get the Kayano MK style which has an elastic sock like setup rather than a normal tongue. I'm so fussy with the tighness of my laces and I loved the idea so I was really hoping this style would work for me. Unfortunately, I had to return them. The elastic sock is quite high and was causing me discomfort around my ankle bone. I'd be happy to revisit the style if they made some modifications.Luckily, the Athlete's foot has a 4 week return policy so I'm able to swap them for the normal style. I have flat feet. Had done a feet scan at Asics store and found I have level 10 overpronation and was recommended this model. Hopefully, it helps me reduce feet issues when I walk a lot.
The shoe itself is as expected but the design of the sock is rubbish. It cuts into the heel resulting in wounds despite wearing padded socks. Buy the normal edition if you plan on buying the new kayano.
I think my normal 41 EUR foot needs something i between. The shoe is too long and leaves much space on the toe, om the other hand it's a very small shoe on the broad side - My 41EUR is struggling with the 42'5EUR on width.
