I purchased these to replace my trusty old Asics gel trainers that I purchased in 2003 to run the London marathon and relegated to decorating and gardening shoes and still going strong - a testimony that if you buy well that they will last ! - I love the new shoes that are now broken in - love the colours and would highly recommend (they go great with jeans as well)

A decent shoe but I found it a bit ill fitting and the cushioning only average. I have bought more expensive shoes with Asics before around the £120-£140 mark and its definitely a case of you get what you pay for. This shoe is ok but a false economy in my view

Did not get on with these at all. After wearing Kayanos for the last 12 months and loving them, they are awful. Heavy and really hard cushioning with high arches that bruised and blistered one foot after a 20 minute run. Had to return them and get my old ones out of the bin. They may look nice but not a running shoe. Awaiting my money back to buy another pair of the old style Kayanos. Worst Asics I have ever had in 10 years of running.
Unfortunately I was disappointed with these shoes. I've worn ASICS for 20 or so years, usually now the 2020 range, and found these heavy and unresponsive. The toe area especially is uncomfortable. I bought them for a virtual 144 mile run in 12 days, and have had to go back to my old pair. I will not be buying them again, or even running much in them.
The shoes are great. The colourway is beautiful and the materials used are of very high quality. They are a bit heavy but comfortable nevertheless. I would recommend ordering half a size bigger since they are quite snug.
Heavier than the traditional kayano, and also seizing is important as very little give in the materials. Great supportive trainer and once broke in very comfortable. Ideal for short off road running or general training .
We bought two pairs (one for myself and one for my daughter) and both pairs were too small, even though we both selected one size bigger than what we usually have. Thus, the appropriate sizes should be 2 sizes bigger than the usual ones. So, as I have European size 43, I have to select 45 of this model in order to get the right size. Same goes for my daughter, i.e. she has size 39, but she has to select 41 to fit her.
I like the design of these shoes. Also they are comfortable enough, even though there’s nothing extraordinary about the comfort.Size doesn’t fit 100% as expected. I wear 44 Nike and 44 Adidas, both fit very good and leave a bit of space which I like. ASICS 44 fit ok, but there’s no extra space which I usually like.I think these shoes are a good price / quality ratio.
I normally wear the Nimbus range, however after reading reviews I gave these a try. They look really nice with a retro feel. I ordered my usual Asics size and they fit just right. They feel heavier than the Nimbus so I wouldn’t wear them for running, but are perfect for the gym, so they are a keeper.
