I purchased these to replace my trusty old Asics gel trainers that I purchased in 2003 to run the London marathon and relegated to decorating and gardening shoes and still going strong - a testimony that if you buy well that they will last ! - I love the new shoes that are now broken in - love the colours and would highly recommend (they go great with jeans as well)

I use the Asics Gel-Kayano 5 OG sneaker for daily use on my treadmill. It gives you excellent support with the gel and the arch support. It is an excellent price for this sneaker at $40. I previously purchased this sneaker in the past at more than twice as much.

dear ASICS thank you for being my jogging saviour at age 65 for the last five years -I am so pleased to find a shoe with a bubble in the heal again - I am managing 10km a day without my feet - heal or forefoot hurting - and its so lovely to bounce off. the heal again. I bought these shoes a month ago. I have been wearing Asic shoes since my running days in the 80"s. The fit is great and the toe box is large enough so my arthritic toe does not hurt. The price was right and delivery was fast. I will definitely be buying more shoes from Shoebacca
Scooped these about a month ago and I love em. Super comfortable, great colors, and pretty easy to keep clean if you’re tedious about it like me. But man get ready for flash flooding ankle down. These suckers boil your feet at a solid 550* F until golden brown. These babies make the Mediterranean look like a puddle. These lil dudes make pools like they’re training the next Olympic swim team. These lovely little potatoes can go from walking on clouds to walking in jello. End
Heavier than the traditional kayano, and also seizing is important as very little give in the materials. Great supportive trainer and once broke in very comfortable. Ideal for short off road running or general training .
I know that these were at an amazing price, and they are nice looking shoes. I've worn Kayanos for 16 years and have seen the advances through the various versions. I currently have a pair of worn out 25s. In all the versions, size 13 has always fit perfectly. And I would always drop in a pair of Dr. Scholl's running inserts. Fit every time. These feel like they are at least a half size too small. The inserts don't fit. I can't run in them. If they were 14s they'd probably be fine, but these are too small - and that's a first for any Asics Gel Kayano I've purchased. I'll keep them because the price was amazing and they are fine for wearing casually, but I'll never run in these.
Ive had these shoes for over 1,5 years and they are still in amazing shape. They are very sturdy and comfortable - they hold the foot well even on a hike and are soft inside, so your legs don't get tired. Also quite warm. So far my best shoes.
