Dear Asics,Thank you for making this shoe. I've actually tried the saga and lyte III, but due to some strange stitching on the upper, outer corners (near the pinky toe), the stitching would rub against the base of my pinky toe, which really sucked.Thankfully, the gel-lyte V doesn't have this problem. The only reason why I didn't try the gel-lyte V earlier was because of that ugly (no offense) semi-circular off-color pattern going on near the back-side of the sole. Again, thankfully Asics pulled through with a monotone color for the mid sole, looks a lot sharper and less try-hard imo.Regarding other things... the shoe is really light and comfortable.If you got big, wide feet, probably this isn't the shoe for you. Ordered both colors and kept the blue and orange (thought I would prefer the other color). They're super comfortable and design adds a pop of color to my outfit. The fit runs large, I am usually a 9.5/10, I wound up getting a 9.

Awesome design and incredible product! This shoe is extremely comfortable and an absolute classic. The Gel Lyte V is probably my all time favorite trainer, I have about 5 pairs now, but this colourway was such a unique design and is so eye catching I had to grab a pair. 110% recommended!

Great looking shoe, unfortunately the sizing seemed way off. Usually a 7.5 UK. I ordered in an 8 based on the 'True fit' guide but they came up huge! I will consider sizing half a size down with my next order.
Great shoes, love gel lyte v’s! Used to have the black tan ones years ago, when i saw these i had to get them. Very unique! Would definitely recommend these, so comfortable and based on previous experience they last a long time.
Definitely my favourite sneaker brand. Love the gel lyte v’s and III’s. Delivery was a little confusing though as I’d asked for delivery to a pick up point but still arrived at my home. Got the shoes ok though so all good 👍🏻
Always always always look for Gel-lyte V, black color versions even more ( need more size 14). This one specifically was not quite right and I bought two pairs!! Overall the shoe is one of the best but the netting type fabric didn’t perform and fit was not nearly as good as past versions. Hoping some prior color options and builds return. Asics hear me, DO NOT ELIMINATE these shoes, fix them to be like before.
Its my first Ascis, after switching from NB.And what can I say, Simply love them. The style, material, comfort, all is top class sneakers that definitely I will wore often. And saying that, this is not my last pair of ASICS:
The toe is too pointed. Great looking shoe except view from the top. It makes the shoe look European as opposed to a softer toe American look. It’s very tough to see unless you are wearing the shoe but others can tell as well. This is my second pair of ASICS with the same problem. I will not likely buy another pair. Plus they run small by what seems like about a half size. I’m a 12 even in dress shoes but these shoe are...well...fit like European shoes inaccurately sized. I hope that’s not wrong to say. No sad bro for Europeans...
This shoe is colorful without being garish. I was a little disappointed to see that the floral part of the pattern is on the platform only (not the shoe itself) but realized that was my mistake in examining the website picture. At first trying on, the shoes are very comfortable for my narrow foot. The heel is snug, yet there's room in the toe box: so I recommend for those needing a narrow fit. I have not tried them for a long walk yet because I don't like the laces that came with the shoes and am waiting to buy different ones. So far, in all, I am enthusiastic about this carefully mismatched pair of shoes.
