The GEL-LYTE V sneaker from the SPRING IN JAPAN Collection draws inspiration from flowers that bloom during Japan's spring season. Its upper construction is formed with pigskin nubuck while a Kamon flower embroidery appears on the tongue. Neutral hues are offset with various colour pops that borrow influences from wisteria, cherry blossom, hydrangea, nemophila, and mustard flowers. The tooling retains its wavy design from when it first hit the running market in 1993.

The shoe itself is very comfortable and has definitely eased some of my plantar fasciitis pain. The only downside I found was that the bottom of the shoe does not do well with any slippery surface, like rainwater on the garden floor or even a small water spill in the kitchen. I had a nasty fall the second day I wore these shoes becaus my feet had no grip. So do be aware when you wear these.

Bought these as a replacement to some previous ASCIS I had designed for running, but due to wearing to work as a nurse, netted upper material not that suitable. These are great for working as a nurse in feet all day as comfortable and good fit for me personally. Not as comfortable as the runners but material more study for work which is good and still much more comfortable than other shoes for my feet with some metatarsal damage. Only been wearing for a couple of weeks but so far so good!

Really comfy shoes. I went up a half size as I normally do with ASICS but they are still tight. So my advise is to go up a full size, and you will have comfy rain resistant footwear. Quite stylish too.

These were much more comfortable than expected. I went up a half size but I think you would really need to go up a full size as they are quite a small fitting. They look good and if you got the fit right, they are a good pair of walking shoes at a good price.
These don’t disappoint . Having suffered from planta fasciitis these have made such a difference as I’m a dog walker and trail runner. The comfort foam insoles are a life saver . Well made, sturdy and look great . Proud to wear this brand as they never disappoint!
Extremely comfortable as a walking runner. Have been wearing this style for the past 6 years. I walk 6-7k per day. The sad this about this runner, is it’s getting difficult to purchase them. Being trying for white pair for the past year. Love them.
The size was great, this shoe is probably the most comfortable one I've ever had and for such a decent price! It feels like the shoes are literally holding the back part of my legs.
Love these Gel Contend SL . Comfortable. Go up a half size. They look fantastic . I have got great compliments about them. Very pleased and great value.
I have have been wearing Asics Gel trainers for a few years now as I find them the most comfortable foot wear on the market. I got these in white as i wanted to be trendy. There are not many trainers out there that are in trend and THIS comfortable. I often wear 'secret socks' or trainer socks that are a low rise and find that other brand can cause rubbing and blisters as i walk but ASICS never do and these are no different. They took no 'breaking in' and are as comfortable as wearing slippers while providing support if younate on the go all day.
Great support and cushion in these shoes. Can walk for ages in then without any pain and feeling fully supported. Makes walking to work so much more comfortable. Very very happy with my purchase
