I have been hunting for a shoe that is 'orthopedic" (has cushion, support, traction-all of the things), and still looks sleazy. Lol. This is her! The metallic color is good enough to wear with a dress (okay almost), and these have the most insane amount of cushion AND support. I am ordering a pair for my son and a second pair for myself. This is running shoe perfection.

This is literally the best running shoe I have ever used. It feels like I am running on air. I had my old shoes for some time and to change to this shoe with the immense comfort, cushioning and bounce, I feel I am that much faster and can go on for much longer. Wish I had bought them before the London Marathon (would have done it under 4 hrs I think)… next year!Highly recommended

I'm an older and heavier runner literally doing a 4 mile school run/jog almost every weekday. Coming from the Nimbus 24 (I started with Nimbus 13!), this Nimbus 25 generation is a completely different shoe. The cushion is on the mark and I like the more flexible upper soul. I've been able to pick up some speed and the comfort level is much better on the bones. Oddly, this is a better cold weather shoe than the Nimbus 24, which became very hard in the colder temps. The Nimubs 25 isn't as good as the Nimbus 24 at the gym. The nice cushion doesn't lead well to great support when weightlifting and the traction level isn't as good on smooth gym services. I'll keep my old Nimbus 24s around for the gym and happily trade the all-around for the Nimbus 25's smooth running ... Previously a long time Kayano wearer but fellow in Ascis shop said I’m better suited to Nimbus as I don’t pronate. Second run in the shoe was a half marathon without issue. I’d like to see reflective stuff on the shoe as I think it’s extremely important to do everything possible to be seen on those early morning and evening runs. I’d also like to see a more significant tread on the sole as the tread strips/sections look like they’ll wear out quite quickly. I’m going to select the Yes option for the question that asks me whether I’d recommend the shoe to a friend but only because the only other option was no, which would be harsh. They really need a Maybe box!
I found them true to size and ultra comfortable. I use them for HIIT workouts and walking. I will definitely buy another pair. The only issue I had when I first put them on is the that sole is rounded (like previous models but moreso) which seems to force my knees into full extension when standing still. I’ve gotten used to the sole now so I can counter act it.
ASICS are great. I have been wearing them for the last 20 years of my life. I have never, ever had a problem with their shoes. So before I bought them online at the ASICS website, I went to my local running store and was professionally fitted. I only bought them online for the color choice. I proceeded to wear them out, and after about 2 miles. I started to get some really bad rubbing on the back of my left foot on my Achilles tendon. I had to stop what I was doing and I asked my husband to come pick me up. I love Asics but for some reason I just cannot wear this shoe. I called customer support in hopes to return them, but it sounds like I am unable to since they have been worn
Love the style, love, the white with the red trim that matches my Redline Proline 26 BMX perfectly (80’s kids will understand) love the support and comfort they give my feet, not to mention my back, which was in a severe motorcycle accident. The only issue I have with the shoe is white is beautiful, but so so hard to keep clean. The leather high tops of yesteryear were easily cleaned. Still, this is a fantastic shoe and I give it a 5 star in every category, except ability to clean. Regardless of the cleaning issue, buy the shoe, because there are 4 things in life you never skimp on, no matter the price: Shoes, mattress, car battery and tires 👍🏻 and just in case your car does break down, you’re going to be really glad you’ve got the shoes 😂
I just returned my Hoka Bondi 8 to try out the Nimbus 25 the other day. So glad I did- what a positive difference in overall comfort in both walking & running- which is the reason for 5 stars. However, got the Road Runner the next day w/ the Nimbus 25 Platinum being advertised. Initially, I couldn't really tell the difference between both shoes. Since Road Runner didn't have my size, I went to the ASICS website & still couldn't tell the main differences between both the Nimbus 25 & Nimbus 25 Platinum so I chatted w/ a rep named Divine. According to Divine, the only difference between the two shoes is the color- Platinum. Apparently, the Platinum color is the sole reason why they cost more than the non-Platinum 25.
I had high hopes, but had to return these. I have been a Nimbus fan for years, but these didn't cut it for me. They are not as cushioned/springy as the Nimbus 24, and also not as breathable. A large part of the problem for me with the 25 is that Asics apparetly removed the gel from the front/middle of the shoe, and now only has it at the heal area. But even with that, the hardness of the sole bothered my knees. Asics, please bring back the gel on the Nimbus 26. It is sorely missed in the 25!
I have nimbus 24 and really love it. It is soon 500km on them, so i wanted to have another good pair of trainers. I was not expecting it to be better than 24, just because old shoe is so good. Was quite wrong. 25 was intended as my second shoe but immediately turned to no1. I train for my first half marathon and my weekly milage is around 25 km last weeks. It fit me just perfect from the first run. Foot is super comfortable and no issues so far after 3 long runs. I run in sweden, rain is very common and was not a problem.Not to forget that the platinum edition is super cool. Amazing design. Really love it.I would recommend it.
