Going on 4 weeks now of using these shoes, and will have to return them to Fleet Feet.Comfort wise they are overall fine stationarily, but I still get small blisters on the outside of my foot when running. This didn't change no matter how many weeks they were "broken" in, or what socks I wore either.What really ruined these shoes for me though, was the inadequacy and impracticality they offer at the end of the day, as "running" shoes. These were an interesting idea, but don't work in reality. Watch any video on YT, and nearly every reviewer has updated in the comments that they can't run in these anymore as well. I didn't have anything to lose though since Fleet Feet allows trials of shoes, and was all that was available locally since Asics takes 2 weeks to ship products.

The Asics store in Chelsea, NYC offered an in store foot evaluation program which they measured and scanned your feet and helped picked out your shoe and size due to how you walk and run. So I ended up with the Nimbus (also encouraged by the amount of great reviews on this the ASICS website). I then also noticed a ton of other people who tried to return their new ASICS products was was not able to do so either as per google reviews from their store (shame on me for not reading those prior). This is a terrible brand to do business with and I will never do so again, you have been warned!

ASICS Nimbus are the superior shoe. They are not clunky at all and I feel faster when I run in them. I al also a physician and I wear them for overnight shifts. My feet feel fantastic in this shoes. The Nimbus-26 are an improvement from the Nimbus-25. Same amazing support without the pillowy, slightly bouncy feel of the Nimbus-25. The 26âs are incredibly comfortable and I feel even faster in them without sacrificing the comfort of a more supportive shoe. Did a 15 miler along Bostonâs Heartbreak Hills two days ago in the Nimbus-26. PHENOMENAL SHOE! Plenty of room across my metatarsals without looking bullky. In summary I highly recommend the ASICS Nimbus 26 for distance runners and for all healthcare workers who work long shifts. You wonât think about your feet at all! They are truly amazing and a substantial improvement from the 25! Thank you ASICS!!!.

Since I loved them so much, I went ahead and bought the 26âs and theyâre⌠not good. For me at least. Iâve worn them on three runs so far and on all three my pinky toes have gone numb in the first two miles. Itâs not a size issue. The length and width are perfect and the same as the 25âs. If anything, the 26âs are a touch bigger in length. But I believe the problem is either the new lacing structure or the firmness in the forefoot or a combination of the two. The new lacing structure puts added pressure onto the top of the foot and no matter how loose I make the laces, I can feel the laces on the top of the foot. Iâve never even given ... MoreUgh. I didn't know that to expect from a shoe of this caliber and I can say it is completely worth the price I paid for them. As a heavier runner, the cushion provided is perfect for me for training and recovery runs and leaves my feet, knees, and hips with a noticeably less fatigued feeling compared to the other shoes I was running in before these. I love the heel cushioning and the gel construction is perfect for this. I also love this shoe because as I grow as a runner, I'm not out growing this shoe as I improve, and as a matter of fact, I feel like the better I get at running, the better the shoe is! The fit is true to size and has a narrow appearance, but still has plenty of room in the toe box. The knit upper is breathable, stretchy, and feels great with an almost sock like feel to it. The new outsole has plenty of grip in wet weather, as well as gravel like paths. One of my favorite features is the integrated tongue that stays put, and the heel cup with cushion and great material usage that will not rub or create any friction points. 10/10 would recommend this shoe to literally anyone and everyone! If I could have one pair of shoes for the rest of my life, it would be the Gel Nimbus 26 hands down, and I can't wait to get one in every color!

I find this extremely helpful as my ankles tend to become unstable after a few hours running, and so this new, simple feature has been really welcomed. The most significant changes are the firmer midsole, helping them become considerably more responsive than the Nimbus 25, but also keeping a very similar soft feeling.Apart from those improvements, overall, itâs a very similar shoe form the Gel-Nimbus 25, and if you enjoyed the previous model, you will certainly enjoy this one. It really feels good to run in and itâs a much more firm shoe and definitely up there as one of my top pics for longer runs.
