After taking them on a test run, these might be the worst shoes I have ever put on my feet. ASICS said it is not a manufacturing defect so warranty does not cover it and they thanked us for our brand loyalty. Never again! Spent $170 of this shoe and it does not last two months and ASICS and Dick’s are fine with that.“ASICS has determined this product is not defective and the damage to the shoe is not a result of, or caused by, the materials used in the manufacturing of the product or an error in the manufacturing process and is a result of normal wear and tear. We appreciate your loyalty to ASICS and thank you for reaching out to us.“

I have mixed feelings. The cushioning feels fantastic, thanks to the gel material, which provides excellent comfort during walks and training. However, I've encountered a significant issue: the upper part of the shoes burns against my toes, particularly at the front. This discomfort is quite annoying and detracts from the overall experience. I’m not sure maybe that was because it is wide, but I have purchased a standard one. I’ll give it a review once I receive it.On a positive note, the customer service was great, and the delivery was prompt. If they could address the issue with the fit, these shoes would be nearly perfect.
I got my first pair of these gel-nimbus 26 shoes in June and used them for work (minimum of 10k steps per day every day). I did not get a wide, and they fit fine even though I’m a true wide, but I did get holes on the sides where my pinky toes are within 2 months of wear. I decided to order a pair in the same size but in a wide, and I got them today. I opened the box and was kinda confused because they look like a standard width despite the label inside saying wide. I was expecting something noticeably wider, but they feel the same as my normal ones. I really really like these shoes, the cushion is insane, but I don’t know if I can keep buying them every 2-3 months after the holes start. I wish they made these in a different material that was more tough on the top!
I bought these shoes after being fitted at Fleet Feet in February. At first, they seemed great. Despite being on the heavier side, they were very comfortable, and felt like they had decent spring. I wore them for part of my half marathon training and for the race itself. Unfortunately, once I hit about 120 miles of wear, they started giving me blisters. It seems that the cushion in the back of the heal has worn so much that it’s left the fabric loose, which is what’s causing the blisters. I normally get at least 250 miles out of my shoes before I even think about a new pair but already had to buy replacements. I’m very disappointed in the durability. This was my first experience with ASICS running shoes and makes me very hesitant to try the brand again.

ASICS Nimbus are the superior shoe. They are not clunky at all and I feel faster when I run in them. I al also a physician and I wear them for overnight shifts. My feet feel fantastic in this shoes. The Nimbus-26 are an improvement from the Nimbus-25. Same amazing support without the pillowy, slightly bouncy feel of the Nimbus-25. The 26’s are incredibly comfortable and I feel even faster in them without sacrificing the comfort of a more supportive shoe. Did a 15 miler along Boston’s Heartbreak Hills two days ago in the Nimbus-26. PHENOMENAL SHOE! I am a heavier runner, but have run many ultras, marathons, half marathons, etc. I have put in well over 15,000 miles over the years. I tried the Gel Nimbus because I was coming back from an injury that prevented me from running for a year and I needed a good neutral shoe with sufficient cushion. This fits the bill for me. I am a mid-foot striker and the cushion makes landing smooth, even at 225 lbs. I have been weight training exclusively for a year and have put on quite a bit of muscle, so until I get back down to a racing weight these shoes will be my daily runners. They are very breathable. The upper is flexible and molds to the foot well. I can see these being a great middle-long distance shoe for anyone.
I tried on at least 20 shoes. I didn't want to try these on because the last pair I bought with this brand were horrible. I gave the shoes away.So I tried them on and it was the best pair of shoes out of all of them. I couldn't believe it. They are so comfortable, I am on my feet all day long and I desperately needed a pair of good shoes.
