I was super excited to get them! Amazing look on feet but run super small .. do not run true to size at all .. I ordered a size 12 and it fits like a 10.5 .. I’d recommend going a full size up maybe even a size and a half if you have wide feet .. the cushioning in the back forces your foot to sit more forward eliminating any space you think you’ll have in the toe box. Great looking shoe, comfortable but sizing is very misleading. Super disappointed about that. Not to mention that the brand is finally getting its flowers and is over hyped. My size is sold out so now I’m stuck with the size 12 .. would love to see ASICS keep up with the demand !

I am a big fan of the Nimbus running shoe, and am currently wearing my 23s. I bought the Nimbus 9 in black/gunmetal for my job as a museum guard. After one shift in this shoes, my feet and ankles were screaming. The support in these shoes were not the same! I wish I could return them or at least exchange them. The Asics website refund policy is not as good as others, such as Zappos.

I think the nimbus 9 is a great sneaker, it currently is one of my favourites from Asics... in fact, it is one of my favourites sneakers from any brand ever, because of the great comfort and support, and because of the cool design and colourways. However, my last pair of these have some QC issues. The first two pairs I bought (a metallic one and a white one) were perfect, no issues at all. But this last pair (black) has many glue marks. Personally, it doesn't bother me too much (I still will wear these a lot), but I know many people do care a lot about this kind of issues.By the way, these fit a bit snug, specially in the toebox area. My TTS is men's 10 (for kayano 14, gel 1130, quantums 180 and 360, etc), but I prefer the nimbus 9 in 10.5 because I have more ... MoreI think the nimbus 9 is a great sneaker, it currently is one of my favourites from Asics... in fact, it is one of my favourites sneakers from any brand ever, because of the great comfort and support, and because of the cool design and colourways. I once tried on the size 10 at the store, and I think I could get used to that snug fit, but I feel more secure with the 10.5 (my feet aren't wide at all, btw). I tell you this because some reviews and videos on the internet recommend going a whole size up, some even recommend a size and a half up, and I think that may be too much for some people, so beware.Overall, a very cool and comfy sneaker that I will keep wearing and buying in the next years. Cheers
Horrible experience. I had the sneakers shipped to a store location. When I opened the box, the sneakers had so many imperfections!!! From glue, scratched paint to loose threads! I didn’t take them, I returned them, in-store and left. I really wanted these sneakers, just disappointed that they were in such a bad condition.
Let me first just say that I've had the every iteration of Gel-Nibus since 4, and out of all iterations the 9 is probably my favorite. Is it as light and cushiony as the 23? No it's not, but I love this shoe. I like the stiffness of it and especially like the look of it. I am not a marathon runner, I'm a doctor and I am on my feet all day however. My feet feel great at the end of the day. I have a pair for work and the gym. Although I love the Gel Nimbus line, you won't catch me wearing the new 24. Those things are hideous looking. The remind me of the Sketchers weight lose shoes from a few years back. I know Asics made the 24 for the hardcore runner, because I can't imagine anyone buying those for the looks. So I'm thrilled that Asics brought back the 9 for people ... MoreLet me first just say that I've had the every iteration of Gel-Nibus since 4, and out of all iterations the 9 is probably my favorite. Kudos. I'm actually going to buy a dozen pair of the 9 because I love them so much and I'm worried that the will discontinue it.
I am a long time Asics user for running and walking shoes and I would not buy any other brand. However, these shoes missed the mark in comfort. Style, they look great, but after two hours of wearing them, I could not wait to get them off. At this price point, I would expect the same great comfortable fit in sport style as in running shoes, especially since all I was doing was walking around in them.
This is my fourth pair of Gel Nimbus. The first three were great and I replaced them once a year. The soles of my last pair began sloughing away at the sides within two months and now the edges are so cleaved the sneakers are unwearable. Asics refuses to stand by their product and blames me (I wore all four pairs for the same activities). Needless to say, I will never buy Asics again.
I cannot recommend these shoes. The back heel sponge appears to be defective. After minimal use, I noticed significant discomfort, particularly in the heel area, making the shoes almost unwearable. To make matters worse, when I reached out to customer service, they informed me that this issue was not covered under warranty. For a product at this price point, I expected much better quality and support. Disappointing experience overall.
I just got these because I really miss the old gel nimbus from 10 years ago. They don't feel quite as comfortable as I remember, but good nonetheless. I wish the colors were more old school, to go along with them...but such is life. Still happy I got them.As a side note...they 100% run small. Order a half size up for sure. I have always worn an 8 men's...but the 8.5 is almost too small. Glad I read the reviews on that fact.
