I brought these about 7 months ago for my partner for work, he is a truck driver drives most of the day with some walking to customers home and what not. Shoes are super comfortable best shoes he had ever worn, unfortunately these are now starting to wear with holes by the toes. Brought my son same type in youth size, his lasted similar length same problem.Very unfortunate as they are very comfortable but for the price I would expect longer use.

My new Gel-Quantum 180-6's replaced Quantum 180-5's that I purchased in 2021 for walking and treadmill exercising. I found my Quantum 180-5's to be very comfortable and supportive, however the gel portion of the sole began separating from the foam-like shoe sole so ASICS replaced them at no charge. 180 5's were not available on the ASICS website, so I selected the 180 6's. If found them to fit a little snugger (shorter and narrower) than the 5's, yet not to the extreme of having to exchange them for a larger size. They have a more stylish upper and seem to be well constructed. I have worn them six times as a casual shoe, yet have not worked out in them. I'm hopeful the sole holds up under the pressure of long walks and light treadmill exercising - time will tell.

This is the second pair of these runners I have bought for my son for school. The last pair almost lasted the previous school year but he is quite rough on them and a hole eventually wore in the top left of one shoe. As a teenager, he is a bit fussy with runners now but required predominantly white shoes for school (hence this choice) so we will see how we go with this pair (again). They are adequate for school with some added protection around the toe.

These shoes are stylish comfortable and value for money. I don’t use them for extreme sport. I am allowed to wear black trainers for work. I am on my feet all day and these shoes help to relieve leg and foot pain caused by prolonged standing. I also suffer from Policeman’s heel but that is alleviated when I am wearing this shoes. I am an advocate for ASICS and I will continue to be so.
I worn these for work (office) and absolutely loved them. However, I walk 6 miles a day and wear a few brands and never had an issue. I decided to try these for the walk and it rubbed skin off the tulip of center toe - badly. The shoe fits like the others - not too big or small - perfect fit, yet this was the result. Love the shoe but it didn’t perform when I needed it to. Not all brands or models work for everyone, this one didn’t for me. If I needed just for work or casual wearing - awesome.
If I hadn't have thrown the boxes out, the 2 pair I bought would be on their way back. This is the 3rd time I'm aware of they've changed the design. Completely flat footed with no heel support. Even when standing I'm back on my heels, sinking flat to the ground. All around the foot you can feel the arch supports rise up around your feet and this is the same size I've used for decades. Width is great as is the length but there's absolutely no middle base to this shoe. The lacing system is rotten as well. One must squeeze their fingers into spaces to get a grip and it's lace hole by lace hole to tighten and when unlacing, nothing releases and the shoe stays tight until you cram it back on. Never seen such a poor design. I just may give these 2 pair to Goodwill.
I tried a lot of different brands, some felt as though the support below the balls of my feet was too narrow, others just felt as though the support and cushioning would last a week or so. After owning ASICS years ago, I eventually bought these after finally deciding which model, they came with everything I expect out of a shoe. Really comfortable and supportive, nice and light, making cardio just that little bit more enjoyable. Will definitely purchase another pair when the time comes.
These are the most comfortable ASICS shoes I’ve ever had ASICS have always been my favorites. these seem to have almost twice as much cushioning then is really even necessary …such a luxury shoe for running. These are a big upgrade on the quantum 180s from a few years ago that had thinner cushioning but more plastic in the soul. These are incredible shoes they feel like $150 shoes but I see what people are complaining about the fabric being a little wonky, but they make up for that with stylish mimicry of old school new balance shoes uppers.
I’ve worn ASICS shoes for a long time and I’ve worn the Quantum-360 but this is my first, and definitely last time wearing the Quantum-180. I wear these for officiating basketball games for context. First off they have a very narrow toe box and really pinch. The lacing system and heel cup doesn’t work well either. If you lace all the way into the extra eyelet they uncomfortably squeeze the top of your foot and there is barely enough lace to sufficiently tie them and I don’t even have tall feet. The absolute worst part of these shoes is the cushioning or lack there of. It feels like there is little to no cushioning with them. I’ve never gotten shin splints before but after the first game where I wore these I had the worst shin splints of my life. I’ve never gotten shin splints before but after the first game where I wore these I had the worst shin splints of my life. I thought maybe they needed to be broken in more so I wore them around the house for several hours running/walking on my treadmill. Tried them at the next game and same result shin splint city! I would love to return them but we all know ASICS is terrible about accepting returns so they’ll sit in my closet in the box. I quickly bought some Adidas Boost shoes to replace them, officiated 4 games in them and no issues with shin splints at all.
Horrible. I have worn Aspics all my life. Have worn the 180/360 ranges too and comfortable and never a problem. Had them on for 4hrs and thought maybe tight/loosen up. Could;ndt walk properly for a week and haven't touched them again. Told once worn cannot return however turns out these are only aesthetic shoes and not good for walking or anything else? Disappointed.
