However, after only 4-5 games of use, a small piece of the plastic on the bottom of the inside left air-pocket tore. This is disappointing and unpleasing esthetically, but did not ruin the integrity of the shoe itself. So the show gets a 2, instead of most likely a 4 or 5 without the tear

I love ASICS shoes and these are great too.I have various issues with my feet but these shoes offer all day comfort and support whether I’m walking, at the gym or running around all day long. They also offer a great style and light materials. I continue to go back to ASICS.

I have been a devoted Asics fan for over 15 years now. I probably have purchased a minimum of 2 pair per year. These are the first pair I have ever been disappointed with. They are sized differently with a larger than normal toe bed & a bit longer than others (at least for size 10 1/2. However, more importantly they are simply not comfortable to wear more than a couple of hours. Unfortunately, I wore them outside before realizing how uncomfortable they are so likely cannot return them. Based on this experience, I would not recommend them.

These are very wide and uncomfortable. I actually put them in the goodwill pile after wearing for 3 days - a waste of money. What’s concerning is that this is an ‘update’ of what used to be an excellent shoe. Now they’re cut very wide, the ties cut into my arch, my feet swam in these shoes (and they were the right size, not wide cut). Very disappointed in this shoe. Don’t buy them.
I usually order the Gel Quantum 180 5. I loved the version. It fit me perfectly.I thought I'd chance these. They are a newer version.My foot is already narrow. The front of the shoe rubbed the outer edge of my foot. I only wore them for 5 hours at the gym. I ended up having to take them off due to the constant rub on my pinky toe. This also were rubbing on my ankle. I should have trusted the reviews I read as I just spent $145.00 on them. Ugh. What a let down!
Great shoes for work and everyday use. I normally had to buy gel insoles for any of my work shoes and with these you do not. I work anywhere from 6-9 hours on my feet and never have any pain with these shoes. They’re also very light weight and I could not be happier. I got my usual size and they fit great, I even got them in the pink style!
I started getting hip pain the day after doing any high impact exercises, this then developed into pain during exercise and then constant pain getting worse and worse over a few months. I stopped running and doing any high impact of jumping exercises which reduced the pain but it was still there. I had bought these quantums purely for running in but had barely worn them. My usual training shoes were dirty so i started wearing the quantums on a daily basis for training and dog walking etc and within a week my hip pain had reduced by 85%! I straight away threw out my old shoes and ordered another pair online. 3 weeks in and my hip pain has almost disappeared!
I’ve previously bought asics similar to this style and loved them! I usually find that they are the only shoe I can train in due to having a previous injury. I bought this pair in August and now they have holes in both of the shoes. I do wear them around 6 days a week however I thought they should last longer than 6 months. I’m really disappointed as they aren’t cheap.
These shoes are poorly made with extra fabric that was not cut correctly so my foot moves from side to side making them no wearable. I had already removed the tag and took them to the gym and then realized but they will not accept them back with out the tag or the box which was smashed and torn in delivery since they put the box in a soft bag and UPS tore it. (Shoes were fine except for the defective way they are made) Complete failure and ASICS will not take them back. The other pair 2 pairs I bought are great. But no more.
These runners are still a really nice sleek all black design ; I’ve bought them the last 3 years! Such a great gel support for my pronated arches, I feel better aligned when I walk in them. Also great width as I have a wide foot / these are normal width & fit really well! However there is no extra shoelace hole around the ankle for extra support! So the fit is quite low.. I actually look them to a Cobler to have some holes punched & now they’re perfect!
