Gel shoe. The gel part changes color and make the shoe look cheap. That didn’t happened to first generation quantum gel shoe. I wonder if I need to stop buying gel shoe. I can’t add fotos because I didn’t take pics when new.
Great for walking and gym! They would be 5 star but this is my 3rd or 4th pair this year as the inside heel wears very quickly exposing plastic which rubs.I think this is poor for a £150 pair of trainers when I only do 10,000 steps and weight training.
I love Asics shoes. They have been my goto for fit and comfort for over a decade. Because of that, I ordered these without first trying them on. Right out of the box I loved the look. They were exactly what I wanted. However, when I first laced them up, I noticed that the heel cup was wider than my other pairs. I tried adjusting the laces to the back set of loops hoping to alleviate the heel movement when I walked. That reduced the slop slightly, and I have worn them a number of times wanting to like them. However, though I have gotten used to the heel movement, my feet do not like these shoes. If I wear them for more than an hour or so, the bottom of my feet scream at me. I still love Asics. Just not this pair.
I purchased these shoes after a lot of research into athletic shoes that help with ankle stability. Although they seem to be good for that, they are not nearly as comfortable as I expected. I’ve been a fan of ASICS for years and have tried several different types of shoes. The gel venture VII is still my favorite and I will probably go back to it. It’s a shame I can’t get the soles from these shoes put on the gel venture shoes because that, to me, would be perfect
I bought this shoe a week ago. Loved the looks of it and felt very comfortable initially. I wore this shoe on a long drive and find that hard stiffener under the collar and above the heel on the back side of shoe rubs against my feet. It was quite uncomfortable only on my right foot bcz it was sitting on an angle at the accelerator.I was not happy from this product with that prie because that stiffner caused more irritation than giving comfort in that particular situation while driving.
Very good fit and comfort. Bought it for my Dad who likes soft plushy shoes and no complaints. He likes the structure, support and overall comfort he gets from it. Totally worth the purchase.
Its a good looking shoe but triumph of marketing and looks over performance. The shoe looks better than in the picture. Spend your money instead on Gel cumulus, kayano or nimbus. It is comfortable and looks sharp but the others are even more comfortable just for long walks or to wear out as daily trainers even if you don't fancy running. Price too high. The asics returns process is not straightforward and takes you round in circles and I struggled to find a link to return these online.
