I recently purchased these on an offer. I am an avid Asics fan. I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis & Asics GEL trainers really help. I decided to purchase these as an upgrade from the Sonoma GTX that I usually wear. I am very pleased with the upgrade. Very comfortable shoe & great for everyday use & Off Roading. I use them for working in (9 hours on my feet). A great stylish trainer which is super comfy & waterproof.Quick delivery & great value when on offer.

I'm an asics fan since many years and have mainly used the Gel Kayano throughout the years. Lately I've been looking for something slightly more robust and preferably with gre text for off road adventures (and hikes with my family). I fell in love with the Trabuco and despite it's stability, it looks very sleek. It's also true to size.

Nice quality and felt very comfortable, however the toes of these shoes seem to sit up or point upwards quite significantly make it a very uncomfortable walking position. I constantly felt like I was being push backwards as I was walking forwards due to this steep toe/forefoot orientation. Hard to explain, but had to return to my local store which were very happy to swap these over to something more suitable.I chose Merrell Mqm 3 Gore-Tex instead. Black Gore-Tex was my priority with a supportive fit for high arches. This is a reasonable option. A little narrow, but after persisting with some wearing in they are a good fit.

I LOVE THESE SHOES. I have been an avid ASICS Kayano wearer for years getting every new release each year. I am not a runner but I gym every day and live in active wear so runners are my uniform. Decided to get the Trabuco due to going to Hawaii and wanting a waterproof shoe for hikes, that isn’t a hiking shoe and could double as a runner for day to day wear and for the gym still. THESE ARE AWESOME. I suggest you get your size. I went up half a size due to some of the reviews but if you’ve been an ASICS wearer for awhile, just get your size. That’s my only regret is that my shoe now is a bit big for me. I love that they’re full Goretex with the toe shield and the shoe lace pocket in the tongue is a game changer. I usually wear GT2000 and was looking for a stability trail shoe that was waterproof. These trainers tick every box- great stability, fantastic traction in the mud and completely waterproof. Comfortable to wear straight out of the box. I bought my usual road shoe size. They also look pretty wicked! :)
Comfortable trainer/trail shoe. Have gotten them wet and goretex has kept my feet dry. Lightweight and comfortable over challenging terrain. I would say they are a little wide fitting at the front and therefore look folded over slightly when I tighten the laces but otherwise fab shoe. I am usually a 5 and went to 6.5 with thick socks
Great looking shoe, very well made and amazing tread! And I was very excited about the club discount price. But it was a very narrow and small fit. I went up a size to start (as I usually would for this type of shoe) and it was tight on my toes and along the arch. Then got another half size up and still wasn’t right. Better in the length but the exact same feel in the width. The Tingalpa store was great with the return.Ended up getting the Gel-Sonoma 6 from Athletes Foot at a similar price (a recent reduction) with my usual one size up. Anaconda didn’t have that type. So still the Gore-tex, which is what I was seeking.
I havnt done real mud yet but did a canicross 3 mile with my dogs. Very comfortable no rubbing or blisters after first time use which i normally get with any new trainers. I went up 1 size which fit great. Cushoning and suppirt were excellent, love the sewn in tongue so no sliding around and will keep feet dry. So far exactly what i needed and expected.
Comfortable and light to wear. They keep my feet stable over uneven terrain and have good grip in the mud. I normally buy the non-gortex version but they don’t last long (holes in the upper material). I’m hoping the gortex version will last longerMy only gripe is that ASICS use Yodel for delivery who are absolutely useless!!
I bought these for a winter holiday including all day city walking, forest hiking through rain and snow. I have now worn them all day every day for a few weeks on all the above listed terrain. They have been fantastic. Very good arch support and all around comfortable and stable on a variety of terrain. Excellent.
