I really like the Gel-Venture 6 series and this is my 2nd pair of this series. I like the color combination of this pair but I really love about Venture 6 series is how stable this shoe is with the right amount of Gel sole. The gel sole is not overly bouncy and the sole has amazing grip which is generally very good for all terrain. One of the best all-round shoes in the market.

Great looking style for the low price point. I went with the clay grey/cream colourway and the colour is very neutral and pairs well with everything. I'm a half size so sometimes find it difficult to find the right fit but have found these super comfortable. Already considering buying another pair.

My 2 previous pairs of shoes were Asics and I tried a couple of times to buy replacements locally. Stores didn't seem to have many Asics. The 3 pairs of shoes I bought (not Asics) I didn't like. I was reluctant to buy direct from Asics because without being able to try on shoes I wondered how that would work out.I finally went to the Asics site and with the help of a chat agent who I told how I was going to use the shoes and a couple of other bits of personal information. The agent was able to determine the model of my previous Asics a couple of current models that would be most like my previous shoes. I selected and bought a pair. I received them and I'm very happy with them. They fit and feel like my previous pair!

My first pair of ASICS, and I am asked to write a review. My first thought was why aren't you asking me to do this in six months time. Notwithstanding, so far - after a few weeks - I'm impressed. I bought ASICS on the recommendation of other runners and at the moment I think I'll be buying them again.Final note: order your actual shoe size - unlike some other trainers, they aren't 'snug' or 'lose' in fit.
I got them 13th January and have been wearing ever since. I only walk in them within the city, to and from work. Already the inside of the shoe is ripped on both sides. I understand wear & tear but its odd that it happened within 2 months. Its comfortable but now my new shoes are already "old". Disappointed.
These are both gorgeous and comfortable. I love the stylistic nod to the 80's style but still also with a modern edge with the silver detailing. They literally go with everything, whether its comfy athleisure style or a more relaxed office outfit. Also incredibly comfortable for longer walks, the perfect commute to work shoe!
As far as I am concerned, you won't be wronged with any pair of Asics. The G-Venture 6 was very budget friendly with the birthday discount I received. The fit is very comfortable, even after a full shift on hard surface with varying fast paced activities. The look goes well with my work attire, however, the one complaint I do have is with the laces. They would constantly come loose right after tying, even though I would double knot them. Since they are used as work shoes, I always do this as a safety precaution. I was already considering buying new laces, but now I just make sure my knots are really tight which seem to do the trick. The one thing that has me coming back for my next pair, is I no longer have the unbearable foot pain I would get from being on any hard ... I bought my first pair of Asics in 2009 when I was visiting my younger sister in Boston MA. We were due to visit New York for 3 days and I didn't have suitable footwear so on my sisters recommendation I purchased a pair of Gel Asics. They were amazing, so comfortable and well suited for my flat feet condition. I have purchased several pairs since and they never let me down. I recommend them to all my friends who are also converted!
