The GEL-VENTURE 6 NS trail shoe has been modified for today's urban explorer. Its traditional materials have been reworked for when you're shifting from the outdoors to city streets. The upper is layered with no-sew panels to create a modern aesthetic. These panels also offer targeted support, which help keep your feet locked-in. Meanwhile, the tooling features rearfoot GEL technology and a trail-specific traction pattern. These components work in unison to provide advanced shock absorption and grip on various surfaces.

I bought these to marshal at the 2023 Ryder Cup in Italy. Having struggled to wear golf shoes for 10 hours for 5 days I have tried my hiking shoes and still had painful feet. Not so with these shoes! Perfect!Great stability on the foot and ankle. Good width and exceptional cushioning. Thank you

I run somewhat supine (on the outside edges of my feet), about 60% hard surface and 40% dirt, about 25/30-miles/wk. The GEL-Venture in its various iterations have been my go-to shoes for many years now. ASICS' last-shape and sizing on the GEL-Venture has been remarkably consistent between generations and different pairs of shoes, so I've never had any problem with ordering them direct, several pairs at a time -- most recently the GEL-Venture 6.The soles are a stable shape and fairly grippy. Cushioning is good, though I'll add a gel-pad under the heel in shoes that see downhill use on a hard surface. They have enough cushioning left to keep running in them after wearing through the soles, but their low price combined with my running form simply encourages a new pair of shoes. Overall consistently well-made, and at a price that encourages running in fresh shoes.

I needed a trainer to walk in every day, roads & fields with absorption. These are perfect. They are light & comfortable. No wearing in needed. No blisters or rubbing. My feet feel cool in this hot weather. Not sure how long they’ll last with everyday wear but I’m happy for now. Bought in sale. Great deal & arrived quickly. Happy

Great! Just more thing...

Very comfortable, the material is lovely. Shoe fits well - I have wide feet so this is usually hard to manage. It looks nice and I can wear it casually if I want. Only thing I would say is that the grip/ridges on the bottom of the shoe is quite deep (which is great for grip) but it also means that it is easy for things to get stuck there like dirt. Otherwise, great shoe!

Happy with buying direct from Asics
16 June 2022

My 2 previous pairs of shoes were Asics and I tried a couple of times to buy replacements locally. Stores didn't seem to have many Asics. The 3 pairs of shoes I bought (not Asics) I didn't like. I was reluctant to buy direct from Asics because without being able to try on shoes I wondered how that would work out.I finally went to the Asics site and with the help of a chat agent who I told how I was going to use the shoes and a couple of other bits of personal information. The agent was able to determine the model of my previous Asics a couple of current models that would be most like my previous shoes. I selected and bought a pair. I received them and I'm very happy with them. They fit and feel like my previous pair!

As far as I am concerned, you won't be wronged with any pair of Asics. The G-Venture 6 was very budget friendly with the birthday discount I received. The fit is very comfortable, even after a full shift on hard surface with varying fast paced activities. The look goes well with my work attire, however, the one complaint I do have is with the laces. They would constantly come loose right after tying, even though I would double knot them. Since they are used as work shoes, I always do this as a safety precaution. I was already considering buying new laces, but now I just make sure my knots are really tight which seem to do the trick. The one thing that has me coming back for my next pair, is I no longer have the unbearable foot pain I would get from being on any hard ... MoreAs far as I am concerned, you won't be wronged with any pair of Asics. The most amazing pair of trainers you'll ever own
2 September 2023

I bought my first pair of Asics in 2009 when I was visiting my younger sister in Boston MA. We were due to visit New York for 3 days and I didn't have suitable footwear so on my sisters recommendation I purchased a pair of Gel Asics. They were amazing, so comfortable and well suited for my flat feet condition. I have purchased several pairs since and they never let me down. I recommend them to all my friends who are also converted!

There's a reason that Asics are a little more pricey than your average running shoe. You get what you pay for. And these are worth every penny. I bought my Venture 6 shoes a month ago. They not my first pair of Asics, but after wearing these for a couple of weeks I was asked by a colleague at work if I liked them. I told them that they're as close as you can get to giving your feet a hug!I marked these shoes as spot on for both length and width. I have very wide feet - so much so that I bought the extra wide version of the shoes and they were still very tight on the first wear. I usually have to go up at least one size when I buy shoes. In this case the shoes stretched quickly to fit my huge feet and they felt perfect after a couple of wears. My wife has bone ... MoreThere's a reason that Asics are a little more pricey than your average running shoe. Asics was one of 3 brands recommended by her foot doctor for their level of comfort & support. When you're wearing a pair it's easy to feel why. I love mine.

great trail running shoe

This is my third pair of Gel Ventures, overall bought because they come in Wide size which feels so comfortable for my normally E size, but these 4E are great and fit comfortably. The uppers mesh like fabric sort of fit around the feet like a sock. Other then that they look good and very durable. The overall design doesn't seem to attract as much dirt and grime as other shoes, not sure why, maybe i dont notice it as much on the darker colors, but a quick wipe with a damp paper towel and they look good as new. Walking/running on dirt has been fine, they feel secure and sole has been lasting with low wear, unlike pavement. Arch feels fine and i'm slightly under pronated and these shoes are rated for under to neutral which i think most people are. The soles i think are the heavier part of the shoe and is probably why the soles seem to be more durable then say a normal running shoe with very light rubber compounds. But dont be alarmed, they dont feel heavy to me and sometimes i just wear them all day and to work. I wish these had forefoot gel as well, but overall a good shoe for the price.
