I bought the Asics Ortholite women's running shoe and it was over $70. It was a worthless purchase. My feet hurt when I run, it's been hard on my knees, there's not nearly enough support or padding. I would not buy these. I will be buying a different shoe for running and outdoor activities because I can feel everything in those shoes. It's not supportive enough. I do not suggest it.

My 10.5 Narrow shoes are fantastic as usual. I buy a new pair almost every 6 months. When my knee starts to hurt, I know to buy a new pair. I love having shoes that fit properly. They feel like I am not wearing shoes. The reflective loop on the back is a great addition. The narrows only come in one color combination which I totally understand. I am just happy to get them. The narrows used to be gray/pink and now they have been black for a while. How about something blue next time?

I have low volume, slim feet and several tendon issues, and wear this GT-2000 style as my primary walking and everyday shoe. Over the last 5 years there have been a number of changes to the fit and fabric, but this current model fits well and has a stronger fabric upper than some prior. I am buying my second pair while the size is available. I always stick a circle shaped shoe hole prevention patch on the inside above my large toe to prevent fabric tears. Grateful for Asics making the only true narrow athletic shoes. But--wish they would offer at least one other color option for us narrow gals.

Shoes are ok, not quite what I expected as I have worn this and other models for years. These felt different and not in a great way. Truth is I’m not wearing them much now and doubt I will as They also took a really long time to get here relative to the “estimated “ time on the web page so I went a bought a pair of NB.Contacting CS for details on delivery was fruitless as they just told me it was just and estimate. Tell that to my race date.Anyway might not be back for awhile.
Purchased these July 21st and they arrived July 25th. By the 2nd week of September they were falling apart. I contacted customer service and was told that given the amount of time I’d had them they would be covered under warranty. I’ve been loyal to ASICS for over a decade and I’m an avid runner, personal trainer and competitive bodybuilder. Imagine my horror when I received an email stating that this was “normal wear and tear”, that the shoes didn’t fit me properly (mind you I was fitted at a local store and purchased these online through ASICS because my local store didn’t have the color I wanted), and that I didn’t lace them correctly. How incredibly demeaning! I’mdisgusted! Congratulations, you’ve lost a decade + long customer for good! Horrible customer ... MorePurchased these July 21st and they arrived July 25th. Please note that I’ve made this experience quite well known on social media. I’m opting for Brooks who stand behind their products. Additionally, I find it completely unacceptable that the customer service representative that I spoke with on the phone clearly told me that given the length of time that I’d had these they would be covered under warranty and indicted that I would be reimbursed once I submitted the photos. Very misleading!I would’ve purchased from ASICS again and given you all another shot since I’ve been loyal to you for so long, but you’ve lost me based on customer experience.
I'm an experienced but non-elite runner who mildly pronates when running slow and strikes mid-foot when running faster. Even for slow, routine runs, I feel best in shoes that have very little to them. For example, I was a BIG fan of Asics DS Racers when they were available--just a little heel in the back and very lightweight. When the DS Racers fell away, the DS Trainers worked well enough too, but now it seems most of Asics shoe lines have thick, chunky soles that force the foot to strike in a certain posture. I debated between rating the GT-2000 13 a 1 or 2. At first, they felt springy and comfortable, but I quickly realized that they severely strained my lower back and hips, causing me to conk out after only a few miles. The instant I tracked down some used DS Trainers I felt like myself again and could get through my typical 6-8 miles with no problem. I wish Asics would keep a line going with similar mechanics to the DS's.
I bought this shoe from a local running store. Very knowledgable sales person. I have relied on Asics for a narrow last that will support my foot for years. This shoe misses the mark on all fronts. It is wide and affords no support. The tongue is stingy and thin. For an expensive shoe it is quite disappointing. I wish you would go back to the old kyanos last. I won't be purchasing another pair of Asics.
I love these shoes. I have worn this model for years! I have a narrow foot and it is so difficult to find a show that fits properly. I only wish they came in more than one color. It gets a little boring when you have narrow feet that if you find a shoe made in narrow it is usually only in a basic color. Please, never discontinue making this shoe in narrow.
These GT 2000 are slightly different to my previous ones. Higher heel guard & thinner tongue. These have orange flashes on the bottom heel area, which would be good for running in evening light. My only criticism is the laces they are still flat laces in slightly round hole they twist & are not easy to undo or pull up. I wish they did this stability in a walking shoe. As I had been recommended this shoe by a foot clinic for over pronation.
mismarked sizes or bad production. Disappointed in the fit. They lie about fitting wide. They don't fit any wide like my husband DD not even close. Return difficult because site does not function. Had to call. Overall, very disappointing. Don't have time for incorrect information. Shoe were also like marshmallows very difficult to walk in Ordered mid support. Would have to order no support. The one rated with most support must actually be dangerous to walk in.
