I have always bought Asics for walking, as they are always very comfortable and last a long time. These ones are especially light and springy, it feels like I'm bouncing off the pavement. Been running in ASICS for over 1000 miles per year for about 20 years, first in Gel Evolutions and now in GTs. The GT-4000s are a smooth, comfortable ride. Glad to be training in them. Love the heavier (10.9-ounce) shoe for training.
These shoes feels like you're walking with pillows on your feet. I have never experienced such ankles, knees and shins pain wearing a pair of sneakers. I wish I could return them.
