My wife and kids all have Japan S sneakers in different colourways. It’s a beautiful shoe. The white on white is particularly nice (it should be part of the permanent rotation). They love the fit - as comfortable as it is good looking from day one. I only wish it was a bit wider, or came in wider sizes. When I wore these shoes once every two weeks, everything was fine. They were a little uncomfortable, but that was normal for new shoes. However, when the weather got colder and I started wearing them every day, a bad smell (like cat urine) appeared. I found online that this happens due to cheap materials, especially glue. I didn't expect to get poor quality shoes with poor materials from ASICS for not cheap price.

I tried these on at home when they arrived and they fit great, looked great too. For reference, I've owned many Asics in the past in the same size. I brought them on a quick weekend trip as my only pair of shoes, and after only a couple hours noticed searing pain with every step in the toe box. They are very snug there, and the leather material is so stiff that it squeezed my forefoot nonstop. When I got home, I had a bone spur on the top of my foot from the poor fit.I understand that the shoe could be great if I had ordered up a size, but I'm really disappointed customer service couldn't offer me any kind of recourse. No exchange, no return, no discount if I send these back and get another size. It's an issue I couldn't foresee without wearing the shoes, and once ... MoreI tried these on at home when they arrived and they fit great, looked great too. Really, really good shoe. I originally got the shoe to use for skateboarding, and it checked all of the boxes for me. The fit was comfortable but held my ankle well, the insole wasn't too think so I could actually feel the board underneath me, and they are built sturdily so they definitely could be skated in for a really long time. However, they are not breathable at all. This would be a 5/5 shoe for me, but they made my feet so sweaty, and consequently got so stinky that I had to put them back in the box at the back of my closet between skate sessions. I tried really hard to use the shoe to its full capacity, but they just make my feet so hot.
I purchased these Japan S trainers from the Asics website. I'm registered blind with extremely limited sight in one eye. Firstly i found the website manageable ona 65 inch screenvand using adaptive technology. The website is very user friendly comoared to so many others. As far as the trainers are concerned, i already had two pairs of Japan S. I have a very extensive range of high end trainers across many brands. The Japan S trainers are currently my favourite brand and style. They are a stunning classic design than goes well with many wardrobe items. They are comfortable beyond what i expected them to be. These are now one of 5 different Japan S colour combos I own and im extremely happy with them all. The price was very reasonable and they were delivered promptly ... MoreI purchased these Japan S trainers from the Asics website. I'm registered blind with extremely limited sight in one eye. It's everything you'd expect from Asics. Well built, comfortable, looks great. The color contrast between the white and beige is a bit more noticeable in person than it looks online. My only issue with the shoe is that it runs small and narrow. The narrowness may simply be because I haven't broken in the leather yet, but the length surprised me. I usually wear size 11 shoes and decided to size up to 11.5 to give myself some extra wiggle room. Even then, in some positions my toes still touch the end of the shoe. Again, this might become less of an issue as the padding in the heel compresses to my feet, but definitely size up on these, at least on the higher end of the sizing scale.
These are a great retro style but… the tongue on the right shoe keeps sliding to the right during wear. I called customer service and was told to put one part of the laces under the tongue and that would secure it. Yes it does but the laces under dig into my foot. Not a solutionI’d like to exchange them but already tossed the box.ASICS have been my go to but this is the second pair that have disappointed. Additionally the insole is pretty nonsupportive. I wish I could have help from ASICS to find a good replacement.
The quality of the shoes is poor. I have an old shoes which I purchased 1 year ago and the quality was much better. The current shoes’ material substitute is cheap, even laces are of low and cheap quality. My feet suffer and I get allergy when the materials don’t let air in, and this what happened to me this time with a new pair of shoes which I wore only around 1 hour. I would prefer to pay more for good quality.
I recently had the opportunity to try out the Asics Japan S Shoe. Been a while since I tried on something from Asics and I must say, it really impressed me.Sleek and stylish is what best describes it. The combination of clean lines and subtle detailing puts it high on my "white sneaker" list. One potential downside to note is that the Japan S is not the lightest option on the market. While it doesn't feel excessively heavy, at least to me, there are some who prioritize lightweight footwear and may find it slightly bulkier than they prefer.
I’d been looking for a new white sneaker for some time and had sizing issues with a few of the other viral styles. I find the Asics Japan S Sneaker to be the highest quality in the category and they’re super comfortable. I generally struggle to find sneakers that fit well as l need the width of an 11 but length of a 10, however, the Asics 11 fit perfectly. They also have high quality laces (l find a lot of sneakers have flimsy, cheap laces that fray and look worn extremely quickly). 10/10.
