We bought two of our school children shoes directly from ASICS this year. It was a good experience so far. Hoping the shoes will hold up well for the school year. They seem well made and look nice.

Really good quality as always. I like Asics because they tend to fit better than other shoes - I like to lace my shoes tightly and the Jolt shoes are flexible enough for that. However, I wish the design on the sole was deeper so the shoe would last longer.

My sons loves the shoes. He recently turned 7 so have ramped up his training for sports. These shoes are our go to training shoes. From running, drills, and playing in the neighborhood. Great support, lightweight, and comfortable. From a former track athlete its well known the track and field community asics makes great shoes for all ages.

Great fit and comfort. These shoes hold up well to daily school and play too. I like that these have actual laces instead of Velcro so that my first grader can tie her shoes every morning.
My 10 yo loves them! He says they're comfortable and he loves the look. We'll see how long they last on the playground, but so far they do seem high quality. I also wear ASICS so I know their adult shoes are very durable for runners.
These and the GT-1000 offer great support for my son’s feet. He has slightly wide feet and under pronates when he walks/runs. Under armor, Pumas, Nike are all too narrow and seem to run small. The regular width in the ASICS is wide enough to accommodate him.
Somehow narrow. They should come with velcro or elastic shoe laces for the kids that still don’t know how to tie their shoes. My son loves asics but complaint of not being comfortable.
Excellent pair of shoes, this is the second pair I've purchased. They are very durable so wanted a second pair in the house in case they were sold out.
So disappointed with the service. I spent $10 for shipping and now I'm being charged $4.95 for a return. I will never order from Asics.com again. In this era of free shipping/free returns, don't know how you get away with this.
Asics makes one the few reasonably priced legit kids running shoe with actual laces. THANK YOU! We got our first pair of Asics right before my son turned 6 to make sure he learned how to tie his shoes. Most shoes these days are slip on or velcro until big kids sizes. And a lot of kids' sneakers have soft soles that do not hold up for active kids. I bought these in the next 2 sizes in different colors since the price was decent and they are just what we wanted. Seems true to size, my son loves the color, which is maybe more bight orange than red.
