Hands down the best shoe I’ve ever worn. Perfect amount of cushion under the foot for hard pavement. Enough stability in the sole to provide support. Soft breathable mesh around the forefoot which feels amazing. This shoe runs wide but that’s a very good thing in a world of shoes which run narrow. I usually wear a wide in other brands and this pair went to the standard width which was still plenty. Sizing was true to size on the length. I might buy another pair just to keep for later they were that comfortable. ASICS literally built the perfect shoe.

These shoes could've been the most comfortable and light-weight shoes I've worn to date but theres an issue since I have flat feet & inward pronation.Every time I step while wearing the shoes, my foot slides forward creating an uncomfortable feeling at the tip of my big toe (both feet). I will try insoles that will elevate the front of my feet but never seen those before.I really like these shoes but can't wear them for more than 30 minutes or else my feet will hurt for the rest of the day. They make a good display in my bedroom since they look nice.

As always, this pair of shoes outdoes the rest! It's light, flexible, and tight construction. It has enough cushion and is pleasant to wear on my hour long walks with the dogs on pavement and dirt ditches here in NM. I have a right big toe that made a hole in all four pair of Hoka One One's shoes. In contrast, I have had no problem with that issue with the Gel-Kayano 29 Wide.Getting a half size bigger and wide has really helped with this shoe.I would recommend this shoe to everyone! It fits perfectly. The width is just right. It's extremely comfortable. This shoe, like all of Asics shoes is of perfect quality. I'm a 52 year old male who lives and breathes in New Mexico. I'm a walker every day of the week walking my two dogs.

I purchased the Kayano 29 based on my positive experiences with the 25, 26, and 27 versions. The Kayano 29 integrates some significant changes. While I appreciate the new flytefoam and litetruss integration, the fit is somewhat changed. Given my previous experiences, I didn't think I needed to try these on in-store and ordered the same size direct from Asics. The fit is much snugger now, causing the my toes to hit the toebox. I initially thought the shoes simply needed some break-in, but several runs in, the snugger fit is a problem.I contacted Asics customer service, and was informed that exchanges are not accepted. These shoes have been worn, so I'm unable to return either. Bummer that Asics customer service wasn't more helpful. Recommendation, try these on ... MoreI purchased the Kayano 29 based on my positive experiences with the 25, 26, and 27 versions. The Kayano 29 integrates some significant changes. If your previous Kayanos were already snug, you may consider sizing up by 1/2.
Not a great fit despite this being a 10W. The cushion seemed to be less than the Gel Nimbus. Only Black was available to buy which was not that stylish either.I just returned the shoe after trying this out but realized there is a restocking fee.I also purchased the Gel Nimbus at the same time. That is a great shoe and has literally solved my knee pain.
I recently got the Gel Kayano Ace golf shoes and liked them so much I got the running version too. The wider forefoot and toe box with stability and cushion helps for me. I’ve had foot issues and struggle to find shoes that work. I’ve just gotten back into running again and these are helpful! I’ve used Brooks Adrenaline for years (great shoe) but narrower toe box no longer works. The size 12.5 is consistent with my previous running shoe size.
I absolutely love these. Perfect fit. Extraordinarily comfortable. I’ve gotten more compliments on these than any shoe I own, and I bought them for function, not style. I can feel them working to correct my over pronation, and they support my flat arches enough that I don’t need insoles. I’m so happy with these and the deal I got on them by coming straight to the source! Will buy again!
I have been running in the normal width Kayano for at least 10 years and have completed numerous marathons wearing them. For training I have found them to be excellent but in Marathon races I found them to start to feel a little tight towards the end of races and usually ended up losing numerous toe nails. I really like the model so I decided to try the wider version and although I haven’t yet run a marathon in them I have done a few long runs in them and I’m finding them to be very comfortable, the extra width seems far more comfortable.
This is a hard one for me to review but here is the reason for the 1 star. Firstly the price was great and the service very friendly. However I had a fit done and was recommended the Kayano, according to their foot scan this would be the correct shoe for me. I do think it is a very well made shoe but it doesn't suit my running or feet at at all and gives me severe knee pain because the over-pronation stability is far to intrusive. So the foot scan was really worthless and I am left with an expensive pair of shoes that I cant use. I have since bought the Asics 2000 series with less pronation control and have no knee pain with these. I think the whole foot scan thing is a bit of a con.
have heard so many good reviews about Kayano 29 so I bought a pair on sale. was looking for a pair for travel and jogging. I am a bit disappointing. The sole is a bit hard. Responsiveness is not very good. The size is off too. The worst part is the return, not friendly.
