My daughter and son both wear these as school shoes. Quick and easy for the kids to put them on themselves. They’ve withstood wet weather days, and sports carnivals, and still have life left in them when the children have outgrown them.

Great shoe for active kids! Second pair of these in black now. My daughter is ‘hard’ on shoes and she got the entire year of school out of last years. She had pink ones of these for kindy the year before. She is autistic and likes the ‘feel’ of these shoes.

This is the second pair of these I've bought - the first pair lasted 2 school terms of heavy usage which is a lot longer than others our family have been through. My only caution is that 'just buy the next size up' doesn't always work - this size seem narrower than the last ones so a fitting may have been a good idea, if you can get to the store.
Great and comfortable shoes for kids. The classic laces in the lower part ensuring a good fit for the foot are complemented by Velcro in the upper part, so the child can fasten them himself, even if he does not yet know how to tie the laces.
We got these for my eldest who has just started prep this year. I am a massive fan of Asics and wanted to get runners that would fit and wear well. My boys usually wear Bobux and the Asics needed no breaking in at all. In fact, my son requests to wear it all the time, they are very comfy and make him run super fast!
Nice shoes but seem to run a bit small and narrow. Thankfully as I bought online I got one pair in each size. The size K10 were too small and the next size only just fit. Hopefully they stretch a bit with wear. Myer returns are easy to do online however you do have to pay the postage to return.
First pair of ASICS trainers for my 7 year old daughter. She tried on several other brand trainers on this occasion but ASICS won hands down.Super comfy and great for when she goes toAthletics club
The Contend 7s are doing a good job for my 6yo son. Plenty of cushion and stability, good action off the toe, light and durable. This was an upgrade from the Patriot 12s which also did well before the upper started to show some wear. I expect these will hold up well until he needs to size up.
My boys don't like wearing the full leather shoes so these sports shoes are a good happy-medium. I had the same last year. They didn't quite last the full year (bear in mind we also had time off school because of COVID that year) but my boys are really active and play sports during every break and lunch time so I thought they lasted really well, especially for the price.
