A great trainer for those faster runs, the magic speed 2 has a full carbon plate and additional foam which I really noticed when I ran. They are really bouncy and lightweight. I also really love the colour, really bright and energetic! For me, it’s a huge improvement on the magic speed 1!

These are the first shoes I've used with the carbon plates in and I was excited to see whether they really would stand up to the hype.The rigidity of the soles was quite surprising at first but this obviously part of how the plates work. However the shoes were very comfortable and I found that I was running quicker without trying .... although whether this was new shoe enthusiasm ...! May well have been! I was however quicker in the marathon at the end of my Ironman than expected in these shoes which was a nice surprise ... and it was enough of a difference to make me sure that I'd use shoes with carbon plates for my next A race too!I really rate these and I would buy them again.

This is the perfect model for fast pace training or races. The shoe is incredible light and bouncy, and thanks to the carbon plate your also get a re-bounce in every step. I really recommend this model if you're looking for someting that you can use both for your interval training and races.
I have a pair of the first generation Magic Speed that I wasn't head over heels with ( the soles were too rigid and not enough bouncy for my stride) . That's why I didn't have set my bar of expectation set too high for v.2. I have to say, Magic Speed 2 delivered much more than I expected. I would go as far as to say that Magic Speed could be descibed as the budget version of MetaSpeed Sky. They look like MetaSpeed and they feel like MetaSpeed. The sole is soft and bouncy, excellent for speed drills. I am coming back from injury and I use Magic Speed 2 to ease into my training routine. Best choice for a budget carbon plated shoe.
Fantastic shoe for speed/tempo runs. They still feel rigid but are more bouncier than the original. The sole looks very similar to the Metaspeed skys and has the same grip. I love the look of the shoes as well.
I have been running in Magic Speed 2 for a few months now and they have gotten better over time. They are comfortable, lights and fast. Great new fresh colour way.What I love about the Magic Speed 2 is that they work when I do. Meaning when I put in effort to increase my strides and run fore foot the shoes reward with the carbon plate and foam kicking in to provide a smooth, fast and responsive ride. Magic Speed 2 are my go to for Speed, effort sessions and race day.
As soon as I put the Magic Speed 2 shoes on I could tell they were a quality product. The design, fit and overall feel was superb. Once I started to run in them then the experience was even better; not only are they light but they provide great stability and they just tempt you to run with a quick tempo. I’m so pleased with them that I’ve bought a second pair.
Super light and definitely feel like the carbon plate does it thing. They run quick! You have to just keep up :) I wouldn't recommend it to newer runners, as there is not a lot of cushioning, but if you have a good technique - those shoes are definitely your best tool for PB
I am really enjoying wearing this shoe for my intervals. It feels super fast on feet and the difference between the first model magic speed and this one is more foam I the midt foot and forefoot. I thinks that's a big upgrade for the magic speed 2. The shoe is very lightweight and durable and I really enjoy running in it.
