Not idle fast bowler front foot landing hurting the toes
Nice fit in terms of length, but as usual with Asics, and basically every other shoe company that makes cricket shoes, it seems that they think that everyone has the same foot width, and this is really annoying. I've tried 2E shoes from New Balance but they're really hard to get in NZ, and I prefer the style of Asics shoes. Hopefully one day Asics will wake up and offer some cricket shoes for bowlers that need 2E and 4E shoes, as it absolutely frustrates me that NOT A SINGLE SHOE COMPANY MAKES 4E CRICKET SHOES.
Ive been wearing Asics Speed menacee for 10 years and wont change. Tge upper is so robust they are hard to kill. As a med fast bowler i might get two seasons out of them. The only thing is the spike holdings tend to tilt after a while of high impact.
Went through 5 pairs of these shoes in one cricket season, me as a right arm fast bowler they would blow out in my left foot after a few games. The sole is also very bad where the foam disintegrates into the shoe. I am now switching to New Balance and not even bothering to get new shoes under warranty.
