Delivery was quick and hassle free. However, while the initial shoe presented well in appearance and finish, the sole started coming away from shoe bed after only a few months. I have experienced this poor quality gluing with other ASICS models e.g. Cumulus Gel. This is a recent development in the last two years. When I asked for a refund, I was told it was because I had gotten the shoes wet. This is completely unavoidable when running on grass or any soft surface. Also sweat will also cause the shoe to get wet in dry conditions. The cushioning of the shoes was initially good but the sole did compress after a few months reducing cushioning.

As I was in the market for shoes that provide good support for walking, running and standing, I found myself attracted to the Asics brand. The Gel Excite 9 just so happened to be my first choice and I'm extremely glad I found this shoe. Despite being heavy, my feet didn't hurt at all after going on a run which was extremely impressive. I can see myself wearing these shoes for long walks when I'm out and about, ending the day with my feet free of pain. What I noticed is that the way the shoe is designed makes walking feel natural and efficient with consistent strides. It encourages heel-striking which is great for walking too. I love these shoes so much that I'm hoping to stick with the Asics brand and perhaps this shoe for a long time.

I absolutely love these sneakers! They are THE most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I have terrible foot problems and I see a podiatrist every 4 weeks and he recommends Asic tennis shoes highly. I have one pair for work- I’m on my feet for eight hours a day- and one pair for the gym. Believe me you will not be sorry if you get this shoe. I love mine!

I had been on the lookout for some lightweight comfy running/training shoes for a while but hadn't found anything I like for the budget I had in mind. I saw these on sale and decided to give them a go as first off I loved the look and colours they came in. Well a couple of weeks training in and it's safe to say they are a brilliant buy, the quality is superb, the sole is soft yet supportive and the lightweight feel means your feet don't overheat. They look great too and I'm considering getting a second pair to wear for work!
I bought these sneakers for everyday use. They are comfortable, but the quality is not the same as other shoes I've bought from Aasics, some in the same price range. The fabric on the inside and outside is of much lower quality. The fabric on the back interior of the shoes got holes within on month. The fabric on the front of the shoe is very thin and not resistant. It easily ripped with a minor snag. I am very disappointed. I might buy their running shoes, but these everyday street shoes have been a big disappointment.
Sturdy support while providing cushion and comfort. Due to foot problems, I need a wide shoe that also provides support. Other brands fall too far below my ankle; this brand lands a bit higher and gives the necessary support. I wear a women’s wide but decided to try a man’s shoe in this brand. I adjusted the size to be comparable to Women’s sizing. Great fit!
Tried to give this shoe four and a half stars. Apparently half stars are not possible. Great shoes!!! My feet are “picky” and the only challenge with these is the slightly narrow width at the ball of the foot. A little creative lace tying and I’m good for all day on a busy vacation, including walking around National Parks. I’m planning to purchase another pair so I know I’ll have a backup if needed.

I did extensive research, and this particular shoe kept coming up as recommended by podiatrists. As soon as he wore them the first time, he was surprised at how comfortable and lightweight they are. (The mesh seems very thin and flimsy, but I think it is because we are used to always having heavy leather shoes.) He has now worn these for a few days and is extremely satisfied. No heel pain, and taking the daily walk with the dog has now become pleasurable. My student son has had a fairly recent ACL and meniscus surgery and has been quite uncomfortable doing various physio etc. As I personally ONLY use ASICS (my go to trainer for training) I sent him a pair in his size - a risky move - my husband said - and it was (given how choosy youngsters can be). He was absolutely delighted with them. The style and comfort and stability. Another ASICS fan in our house! Always great quality and durability
I received these today to replace my old Gel-Excite 6's which I loved and were probably the most comfortable sneakers that I have ever worn in my life - these are not them. These fit differently and the soles are not nearly as comfortable as the 6's. The biggest issue is that the sizing seems off as they are shorter than the Gel-Excite 6's. I always wear size 12 and a half in the Gel-Excite sneakers and these definitely run shorter. Now I have to go through the whole process of returning them as I bought them online.. Buyer beware - these are not the same fit or feel as the previous versions, unfortunately... Very disappointing to say the least...
