The GEL-KAYANO ACE golf shoe is inspired by our iconic stability running shoe. It's designed for the player who's seeking advanced support and traction to assist their swing. Similar to our running footwear, this shoe also features a TPU heel cradle that holds your foot in place. This component comfortably keeps your feet centred during your swing and when you're walking across the course. Meanwhile, the outsole is formed with a strategic traction pattern that improves your grip. It helps you remain locked-in during your shot throughout the course's varying topography.

I love these golf shoes! I now own two pairs. I walk 18 holes 4-6 days a week so comfortable shoes are important. After several years of nagging foot pains, I now have relief. Shoes are waterproof so feet stay dry. I’ve run in ASICS for at least 30 years so I was pleased to see they are now into golf shoes.ASICS gets my feet!

These are the best golf shoes I've ever owned. I love them. They are perfect in their stability (firm platform to make a great swing) and yet perfectly cushioned for awesome comfort. At first I thought they would be too firm to have the comfort I wanted. I jog/walk the course 90% of the time, and these do exactly what I want them to do. Thank you Asics for making these - they have improved my golfing life. (Maybe consider a BOA version??)

My 2nd pair. Switched from Ecco. I wear wide and these shoes have a wide toe box. Extremely comfortable. Great arch support. Very light weight which really helps when I walk an occasional round. (I usually ride) Waiting for black to be in stock, then I'll have 3 pairs.

I REALLY love Asics shoes (running and golf shoes). So VERY comfortable but two small issues: Felt the sizing runs a half a size smaller than usual. I usually buy 11.5. These felt tighter than the usual 11.5's I buy and use. I have four other pairs (Gel Course ACE) Asics golf shoes that are great fits at 11.5. So, be aware. I also feel the sole traction pattern on the Gel Course ACE gives a firmer grip than the Gel-Kayano ACE (these shoes) I've slipped a couple of times during the swing. But these shoes are light, comfortable, good sale price and I would buy them again at that price...ASICS Best Golf Shoes out there!
Best golf shoe I tried so far! I also own a pair of the Asics Gel Course Glide, and I highly prefer these in comparison.Sizing: Sizing fits the same as the Glide. I sized half-size down from Nike (Air Zoom Infinity Tour) and Adidas (Tour360). I feel like the standard size for these Asics are more wide foot friendly compared to the other brands.Waterproof: Fully waterproof toe area compared to the Glide. On a very wet day, water will get under the tongue if it gets that high. Even with the waterproof lining, I have no issue my feet becoming too hot.Comfort: To me, these are most comfortable out of all the golf shoes I own. The heel area is nicely padded, so no blisters even with no-show socks. The tongue actually stay in the same position compared to the Glide. ... MoreBest golf shoe I tried so far! The cushion makes it easy to walk in on and off the course. You can probably pass it as an everyday shoe.Traction: The shoe tread pattern is a little different than the Glide. I never had a problem with traction even on wet days.Upkeep: After the round, most grass and mud will come out after a slapping the shoes together a few times. These shoes are very easy to clean by just running it under water. I have the white pair and the white color is still holding up even after muddy rounds.
As always give me good support along with comfort and they are really well-made for my 6 1/2 mile loop.I live in southwest Florida, so the summers are hot.I liked the look of the shoe, particularly thinking it would breathe very well. Unfortunately it’s made for the crowd that values waterproofing so it’s a pretty hot sneaker that doesn’t Really breathe very well.I’m fine with an open mesh and I prefer that for the hot summer.
Most comfortable golf shoes I have ever owned. Bought Gray/ Silver. After a few months one changed to lime green.Filed a claim with ASICS which was rejected.Worldwide Golf not listed as an Authorized Retailer. Color change not considered a manufacturer defect.
Love these golf shoes. They look and feel like trainers and I feel very athletic when I'm wearing them, which I like (some of my other golf shoes I don't get that athletic/balanced feel from). I've had plantar fascitis in my left foot off and on for over a decade, and, Morton's Neuroma in both feet for almost five years - these shoes are the best at negating the side effects of those two stubborn issues. The Skecher's Arch Fit GO GOLF 2 is also a good choice if you have foot issues but they stopped making that model a year or two ago but can still be found if you hunt for them. That said, the Asics Gel Kayano Ace is very comfortable, great traction and waterproof - tough to beat.
I have flat feet and have to wear shoes with good arch support or can accommodate an orthotic well. I have been exclusively been wearing ASICS GT2000’s as my everyday shoes for years now and they fit great. I bought these hoping they would feel similar because they’re built on another stability running shoe of the same name. Unfortunately, they’re not as comfortable as I hoped. They feel good when I first put them on but after walking 9 my feet are feeling sore. I’m hoping that they start to feel better after a break in period. They will probably be fine for someone who doesn’t over pronate but if you have flat feet these may not provide the comfort you’re looking for.
These new Asics Kayano Ace shoes are to date the most comfortable golf shoe and maybe one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I walk all of my rounds of golf, and put in on average 3 rounds of golf a month. I own N Balance, Ecco, Nike, and FJ. I typically like the NB, but their latest offerings for shoes have not been comfortable, so I decided to go with the Asics. I do require a wide in some shoes, but these do accommodate for that. I did not need a break in period, walked 18 and have never felt my feet so comfortable and not sore or tired after the round. They look great as well, and have gotten a lot of complements and questions about how I like them. They are one the higher end of the price but having bought a pair of not as comfortable FJ for about ... MoreThese new Asics Kayano Ace shoes are to date the most comfortable golf shoe and maybe one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They are one the higher end of the price but having bought a pair of not as comfortable FJ for about the same price I'd say they are well worth the price given how satisfied I have been with them. They have more of the sneaker look to them which to me if just fine. I got the white, white with blue, and only time will tell how easy they are to maintain clean. Great grip on the course, no issues with slipping and feel natural throughout my back swing and down swing and follow through. I might consider another color, but wish they had a blue or black. I believe for me they run maybe a half size bigger than wear, I typically wear 11 but got a 11.5 and feel great. Great all around golf shoe, for me it is a quality shoe well worth the price.
