This is my first time purchasing a shoe according to the way I run. Until then I didnt know that there is a science to running. I bought this shoe as it was recommended to suit my feet arch and landing style. I have run a total of 30k in these shoes. My first 10K was a bit slow because I had to get used to the padding(gel). So far the shoe has provided the stability I need while trail running.Service from ASICS has been flawless. Odering was easy and delivery as fast. Happy customer.

These trainers fit well, are true to size, and have excellent arch support. I use them for walking on tarmac, stones, mud, grass, flat walks and hill walks. They are an excellent summer trainer for all the above terrains and have been on walks up to 14 miles and passed the test. The only thing I wish they had is a slightly thicker sole for more support on rough terrains. I have bought multiple pairs of these are one wears out, and I got these on offer so another win! The colour also makes me smile!

My favorite shoe ! Having owned a few pairs my feet,back,and knees love them.Great hot weather shoe, very breathable too.Laces stay tied also.....(I have owned many that do not)Seem to be long lasting as well, using as a work shoe,which involves ,ladder climbing,lots of walking etc...some stomping.Not so good for wet situations as stated very breathable which also equals wet feet in puddles,wet grass etc. But I wear a different shoe for those known situations,snow, cold wet etc.Also they stand behind their product !!!I had a pair fall apart with in a couple months of purchasing, unstitching etc. from the little toe area. (both shoes) I usually don't see my toes poking out for at least 6-9 months depending on my work.It was a slight pain contacting them as any ... MoreMy favorite shoe ! Good-looking shoe! I was a Gel Kayano guy for years but I started having foot pains with them (some combination of plantar fasciitis and posterior tibial tendinitis). Switched to these and my feet feel much better in them (both walking and running). They have a nice, stiff back end which according to my podiatrist is good for arch support to avoid the plantar. I think I'm a mild overpronator for what it's worth.
These trainers have highlighted just how important decent quality running shoes are. I don't really run, maybe once a week, but when I do, I end up with shin splints and pain in my big toe. I ran yesterday and today I have no pain! They offer support that is noticeable from the moment your tie them, they are lightweight and supportive. I got a size 6.5 which is my usual size and they fit well, the colour is just my style. I honestly will be buying at least another pair of these shoes to wear day to day.
Love ASICS, this one is the best so far. I’ve worn nothing but ASICS for the past 10 years as they were the only shoe I found that work for my leg issues. I’ve always sided with the sale models or cheaper ones. These shoes will become a new standard for me. I could not be happier with them. On days wear I get 30k steps or just 5k, the comfort and support is there. Great for exercising and great for walking. I imagine that they’d make great running shoes as well.

I have a really tough time finding shoes that fit comfortably. New Balance M560s were great, but in their infinite wisdom New balance stopped making them.I saw the GT-1000 reviewed as having a wide toe-box, so I bought a pair, with great hope. That hope was dashed the first time i wore them. I ordered a length 1/2 size up, and the X-wide. These shoes are still pretty tight in the toe-box. Even worse, they dug into my heel. After just a mile walking in them to try them out, they had rubbed away the skin on my heels. I had to take them off.Why can't shoe ... Most comfortable model shoes I have ever had. I wear these new in the office, up and down all day, working on hospital floors. When they get replaced, I wear the used pair as my out of the office pair and they do very well there too. I have one pair that I reserve for running very low milage and I don't have any issues. Very comfortable and fit with my orthotics well. Sizing is true for me. I've never given them rough treatment or a high-mileage running test so I can't speak to comfort or durability for that. Some of my family wear this same shoe and are happy with it as well.
