These trainers fit well, are true to size, and have excellent arch support. I use them for walking on tarmac, stones, mud, grass, flat walks and hill walks. They are an excellent summer trainer for all the above terrains and have been on walks up to 14 miles and passed the test. The only thing I wish they had is a slightly thicker sole for more support on rough terrains. I have bought multiple pairs of these are one wears out, and I got these on offer so another win! The colour also makes me smile!

Last year, (2022) I bought 2 pairs w/ 2 differen color schemes. I purchased the white/blue harmony and the not shown the red/white/blue USA pattern. Both are good shoes. I wear them frequently. Downside is today's shoe material gets dirty easily b/c it soaks up everything. I've had to wash them 2x. I switch my shoe rotation for workouts and runs to keep the for long periods of tim.

The shoe is super comfortable and I’ve already put about 70 miles on them. I’m still breaking them in, but the heel back seems short, that is, it hits my Achilles tendon lower than my other ASICS. Not a deal breaker but feels awkward. The other thing is, the gel doesn’t go all the way around the shoe but stops midway…at least aesthetically. Other than that, the shoe is lightweight and comfortable. I’d be interested to try the new model and see if it compares. Maybe they will send me some to review. (Size 10). I’ve been running in ASICS ever since high school, can’t seems to be brave enough to switch to a different manufacturer.

Good-looking shoe! I was a Gel Kayano guy for years but I started having foot pains with them (some combination of plantar fasciitis and posterior tibial tendinitis). Switched to these and my feet feel much better in them (both walking and running). They have a nice, stiff back end which according to my podiatrist is good for arch support to avoid the plantar. I think I'm a mild overpronator for what it's worth.
These trainers have highlighted just how important decent quality running shoes are. I don't really run, maybe once a week, but when I do, I end up with shin splints and pain in my big toe. I ran yesterday and today I have no pain! They offer support that is noticeable from the moment your tie them, they are lightweight and supportive. I got a size 6.5 which is my usual size and they fit well, the colour is just my style. I honestly will be buying at least another pair of these shoes to wear day to day.

Love ASICS, this one is the best so far. I’ve worn nothing but ASICS for the past 10 years as they were the only shoe I found that work for my leg issues. I’ve always sided with the sale models or cheaper ones. These shoes will become a new standard for me. I could not be happier with them. On days wear I get 30k steps or just 5k, the comfort and support is there. Great for exercising and great for walking. I imagine that they’d make great running shoes as well.
I bought these as I had just joined the gym, I was looking for something durable but also looked nice. I’ve worn these at least two dozen times now and they are one of the most comfortable trainers I have ever purchased. Super supportive around the ankle with plenty of cushioning around to heel. Having bought these and tried them out. I will never buy any other trainer for working out again.

I need shoes with a wide toe-box, and usually order extra-wide for good measure (even though the measuring device says my foot width is normal). I have a really tough time finding shoes that fit comfortably. New Balance M560s were great, but in their infinite wisdom New balance stopped making them.I saw the GT-1000 reviewed as having a wide toe-box, so I bought a pair, with great hope. That hope was dashed the first time i wore them. I ordered a length 1/2 size up, and the X-wide. These shoes are still pretty tight in the toe-box. Even worse, they dug into my heel. After just a mile walking in them to try them out, they had rubbed away the skin on my heels. I had to take them off.Why can't shoe ... I am very pleased with my purchase of these shoes, which were recommended to me by my physiotherapist. The colour is not pure black, but more of a charcoal colour, which makes them look really sophisticated. The shaping of the shoe is perfect for my foot, which is fairly narrow. The comfort is absolutely great, and I am sure that these shoes will be the best thing I have bought this year. Thank you!
