As soon as I wore these shoes for the first time, I knew I would be buying other pairs. I am not a sneakerhead, so I tend to gravitate towards the "non-mainstream" shoes and fits. This is a perfect piece because of the classic 80s look and the unique Asics branding on the sides, heel, and toe. They are inexpensive and as such have some stringiness coming off the stiching on the synthetic leather. However, it's not very noticable. The insole is very comfortable, but if they wanted to add an even better insole, they could. Overall, it's a stylish, breathable, comfortable shoe. I would like to see a version with premium materials such as true leather and suede.

Finding the shoes I wanted was easy to find and order on the website. I wanted something trendy but also great for a lot of walking because of an upcoming trip. Something comfortable was very important. And these fit the bill. They are trendy and super cute on and I wore them on a recent trip and my feet were fine with lots of walking. The reason for 4 stars is that when first put on the footbed isn't that comfortable, but after they're on for a bit it seems like the footbed relaxes and becomes very comfortable. I think it's something with the type of insert. I wish they would have included that info in the description of the shoe because I almost didn't keep them and that would have been a shame.

I have been looking for white sneakers for a while until I landed on these. I purchased a size 8 and I have a medium arch. These sneakers fit perfectly and are comfortable. I live in NYC and walk around A LOT. I received many compliments wearing these. They are also easy to clean if it gets a little scuffed from hours of walking.However, if you have high arches I would recommend adding insoles in them so you will have more support.

I brought them on a quick weekend trip as my only pair of shoes, and after only a couple hours noticed searing pain with every step in the toe box. They are very snug there, and the leather material is so stiff that it squeezed my forefoot nonstop. When I got home, I had a bone spur on the top of my foot from the poor fit.I understand that the shoe could be great if I had ordered up a size, but I'm really disappointed customer service couldn't offer me any kind of recourse. No exchange, no return, no discount if I send these back and get another size. Really, really good shoe. I originally got the shoe to use for skateboarding, and it checked all of the boxes for me. The fit was comfortable but held my ankle well, the insole wasn't too think so I could actually feel the board underneath me, and they are built sturdily so they definitely could be skated in for a really long time. However, they are not breathable at all. This would be a 5/5 shoe for me, but they made my feet so sweaty, and consequently got so stinky that I had to put them back in the box at the back of my closet between skate sessions. I tried really hard to use the shoe to its full capacity, but they just make my feet so hot.

These are a great retro style but… the tongue on the right shoe keeps sliding to the right during wear. I called customer service and was told to put one part of the laces under the tongue and that would secure it. Yes it does but the laces under dig into my foot. Not a solutionI’d like to exchange them but already tossed the box.ASICS have been my go to but this is the second pair that have disappointed. Additionally the insole is pretty nonsupportive. I wish I could have help from ASICS to find a good replacement.
