I’ve tried quite a few different brands and models of running shoe and these are my favourite. They were recommended to me after I started experiencing pain in my foot from jogging. Being in my fifties I thought it was just part of getting older, but switching to the Kayano solved the problem almost instantly. Comfortable for simply walking or going for a run. My only issue is my toe can bust through the top (it happens with other shoes, too). Other people do not have this problem. I am on my 2nd pair and have no plans on switching brands or models.

Have worn asics for many years as I find it is the best fit for my foot and reduces lower leg pain in general wearing- (Active but not excessive lifestyle).Sadly they wear very quickly- Big toe pushes through the webbing quickly and cushioning wears as well. Lucky to get 4-6 months. Becomes very evident when you try a new shoe.But terrific shoe if you can afford the regular updating.

Best Running and Everyday Sneakers

Purchased these for my husband who normally wears Nike. I was told by the store attendant that these are the best running shoes ever. I bought them as they didn’t have his size in the Nikes so my husband decided to give them a go. After 1 use while running and he said they were the best running sneakers he’s ever had. Lightweight and comfortable and he said they had great traction while running. He even bought a 2nd pair for everyday use as they’re so comfortable

Best running shoes I’ve owned

Better than I thought. I came from Brooks Beast but decided to give Asics a go. They are a narrower fit than Brooks but it feels very comfortable. Went with the same size even though the AF store rep recommended going half a size up for Asics. Glad I didn’t, I’m not a huge runner, approx 18-20 km a week. And I’m about 100kg. These shoes are perfect, light, and stable.

DISAPPOINTED

I have always purchased Kayanos (20 years) and always buy 2 of each model at least. I especially loved the Kayano 26's but these 28's are really disappointing. They feel heavier and clunkier. I have been trying to get used to my 28's for the last couple of months, but have switched back to my last pair. They are noticeably different- the 26's feel lighter and provide better foot. Unfortunately, I still have a new pair of 28's waiting to be opened, guess I will be using them for gardening and hoping Asics go back to the 26 style. Otherwise will have to look for a new brand after all these years.

Great trainer

Purchased for runningDead comply and fits to size. As per other reviews would imagine they are too hot in the summer as material is not overly breathable but they are absolutely fine for autumn winter spring weather. Got at reduced price would not have paid the recommended rrp. Would also wear as casual trainers not just runners.

Kayano - a star in many aspects.

I am using solely Asics Kayano shoes for running for many, many years. Given I need a shoe that helps me with my over pronation, the Kayano was a game changer for me after suffering some milder knee issues quite some years ago. These problems never reappeared. Aside I like the optics, the comfort and the lightness of the shoe. I love the product! Great job. Well done to the whole Asics team.

For years I have stuck to the kings of sportswear, Nike and Adidas and have always thought about a pair of Asic Kayanos in the background but stayed true to my feeling. I went out on a limb and thought I’ll give these shoes a shot as they get so much praise from runners! Well, now I see why! These shoes are supportive whilst give you the feeling of running on clouds, the best running shoe I’ve ever owned. I could go on for ages with linguistic awe to describe these shoes but quite simply, if you run, you should be running in these.

Perfect work shoes

Great Shoe. Used it for work everyday. My work requires me to stand for long hours.Very comfortable especially on long long shifts..Just disappointed with delivery - tracking not accurate - got lost during delivery.Customer service is fantastic - assisted with getting a replacement for the shoe i bought and ensured it got delivered.

Very Comfortable but Terrible Build Quality

I've been wearing Kayano's since the Kayano 24 was released and they normally last 18 months before I wear the sole down. I'm not a runner but I'm on my feet all day and do a lot of walking.I've had my current pair of Kayano 28's for 8 months and they are ready for the bin.The first pair I bought had to be returned and replaced within 24 hours of buying them. The red Inner sole completely failed and turned into a crumbling mess of red powdery foam.The replacement pair were OK but within a couple of months the sole began separating at the edges.
