The positives first , This is a very comfortable shoe with great potential however there are a few issues. (1)I always buy 9.5 in Nimbus models so i did again however the shoe slips in the heel at the back and sides. There is way more padding on the Nimbus 24 which keeps your foot locked in so this is very disappointing on a expensive shoe that rose $20 but cuts corners. Other areas of shoe feels tight.(2)Laces are too long(3) The tongue is a gimmick it is very stretchy wow thats it causes lace pressure with no padding also the tag on tongue has sharp edges that isn't sewed like the 24 (little things)(4) Half the plush padding in heel so slippage occurs.(5) Knit material isn't as soft as they make out especially inside the shoe.So as a long time Nimbus ... Lets be honest this ain't no Nimbus so don't call it one. Also if you size down half a size shoe will be very tight.Asics are cutting corners but raising the price poor form.

The New ASICS Gel Nimbus 25's are a change for me having used other brands previously. They have very soft slouchy soles which really do provide an optimum comfort especially when you're pounding concrete on a run, helping ease pressure on your joints. They have now taken over as my primary running shoe. Like most good running shoes they won't keep your feet dry if you run through puddles or in the rain but that does mean they're very breathable.Of course with this the sole is a dominating feature of the trainer which does stand out and particularly lends itself to running over walking, however the sole does get dirty easily and is a bit of a challenge to clean, that said, the entire design isn't exactly subtle! I would definitely look to ASICS again in the future and I know my girlfriend swears by them.

These Asics running shoes are very comfortable to wear, with gel cushioning and lined with soft padding around the heel. The materials give a feeling half way between shoes and socks as it is comfortable for walking and running. The blue colour is very bright, with the contrasting orange detailing - as shown in photos. This is brighter than I would normally choose, but looks good. After wearing a few times on trails the mud does show on the fabric and sole, but cleans up ok. If wearing in the rain or splashing through puddles your feet will get wet, but I found this to remain comfortable even when wet - I haven't tried them yet in the warmer weather but I expect to be good in the heat for running or walking with good breathability. The materials appear to be good ... The large loop at the back of the heel makes them easy to take on and off. The laces match the shoes nicely, and provide good fastening for a secure fit with multiple eyelets. The soles have reasonable grip from new, but I am unsure how quickly the soles will wear with use.Overall I would recommend these shoes as a comfortable, lightweight option for running or walking.
I have moved between Saucony and Asics for over 30 years and i always recommended them to my clients with foot, knee, and hip issues. Recently I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis that affected my feet in a horribly painful way, so I had to find something with a lot of cushion, and I mean a lot because I am determined to walk to keep as much mobility as I possibly can and my muscles in shape.About six months ago I ordered the most cushioned HOKAs after seeing many nurses in the ER wearing them. Like nurses, I am in shoes for over 12 hours a day. I wasn't disappointed, but after wearing them for a period of time I knew I needed to find a different brand because they were too costly for the time they lasted. ...in came ASICS again.I've had these ASICS for a few ... My feet have never been so happy!!! They are everything I needed to help me battle the complications of having MS. MS can be debilitating, but with ASICS I won't give in or give up walking!!!I have only one issue - the cost, they are as expensive as the HOKAs. Of course, they are worth it, but I wish ASICS would offer a discount for disabled people. Many of us cannot work, are on SSDI, SSI, or need help with covering the costs of helpful products such as these shoes. That said, I simply cannot believe how much better my feet feel in these shoes! THANK YOU ASICS, IMO, YOU ADDED MANY HAPPY YEARS TO MY LIFE.
As a running enthusiast, I recently purchased a pair of Gel Nimbus running shoes that I would like to review. After extensive use, I can confidently say that these shoes have exceeded my expectations and have become my go-to pair for any run.The first thing that caught my attention about these shoes was their comfort. The cushioning system in the sole provides ample support and helps to absorb impact while running. Additionally, the breathable mesh upper keeps my feet cool and dry even during intense workouts. I have not experienced any discomfort or blisters since wearing these shoes, even on longer runs.Another notable feature of these shoes is their durability. I went to Fleet Feet to get my feet scanned and an associate recommended these shoes. I tried them on in store, loved them, and hurried back home to order them from ASICS.First mistake: I ordered the white ones. I know, I know. Why order white running shoes when I KNOW they'll get dirty? Well, maybe it's because my white Hokas set my expectations high. I've only been using my ASICS for 2 months and they have gotten completely dirty lol but I'm willing to accept that it's on me!Second mistake: I thought I liked lots of cushioning based on my affinity for Hokas. However, I'm not sure what it is with these ASICS but I do not love the cushion here. It's uncomfortable.Overall, these actually hurt my feet when running when ironically I was going to use them as ... I needed a pair of walking trainers that are durable and very soft as I can often walk in excess of 8 miles every weekend. My walks are routinely on concrete, pavement slabs, ashpalt and canal/river tow paths. The sole of these trainers are very durable and don't feature soft, deep rubber tread that you would find on hiking or trail boots/shoes. So they are ideal for the terrain I walk. I sometimes suffer from plantar fascia pains, so wanted very soft and light footwear to help out. These certainly do the job. They are incredibly light, making long walks very enjoyable. The cushioning given by the gel/foamcombo is so soft. Each stride feels assisted from the bounce, making light work of walking. They are by far the softest trainers I have ever had. The cushioning given by the gel/foamcombo is so soft. Each stride feels assisted from the bounce, making light work of walking. They are by far the softest trainers I have ever had. They also add a good inch and a bit to my height. They are wide, both in the toe box and outer heel sole, adding to the sponge like feel. The seamless upper is very comfortable no sores at all. They are ideal for my use. I would say however, on uneven terrain, the odd stone or pavement edging, if the wide outer heel does catch on a high spot, I find thr shoe does twist rather quick. This is obviously a penatly you take for the soft feel, and as I'm not running, the potential for injury is minimal to my ankles.
Super speedy running in these shoes as they're just so bouncy! The amount of gel used within the Nimbus 25 range running shoes really is significant and this has resulted in significant benefit in my brief experience of using them so far. Asics are already renowned for producing excellent quality running shoes and this style is just another expression of their ability to manufacture and engineer superior style, comfort and endurance. I've tried the shoes over a variety of terrains within the last week and I feel that they have been incredible across the board, whether this be alongside rocky hillsides, over uneven field side or woodland paths, and even across the beach in the rain. The bright blue colour really does stand out in the dark and this is another feature of the shoes that I personally like. The fit was true to size for me but I like a snug fit as this really does add to the support features of the shoes over the feet when in use. The running shoes do offer great value for money in my opinion as the performance of the shoes and their engineering quality really does tip the balance for me. I am sure that these will take the effort and hopefully, given the reputation of Asics, endure for the many more memorable running experiences I hope to experience using them.
Asics - what have you done to the greatest running shoe? I have been a devoted Nimbus wearer for 15+ years and this is definitely no Nimbus.
