A rare beast these days - a shoe with medial posts, rather than pretend support features that don't work (guide rails?).This shoe is everything I expect from the name, having worn them since the 4th iteration. Good grip, good control, flexible enough whilst still offering support - there is nothing remarkable about them, and that is no bad thing.I've bought 3 pairs, as I have heard the next version is no longer a support shoe.

The shoes were delivered with 48 hours of ordering and came within recyclable packaging. The fit is true to size (I usually wear a 6.5 in ASICS but ordered a 6 and my toes feel snug enough inside the toe box without having to tighten the laces) and the waterproof material on the toe box secures the mesh part well for a trail shoe. After just a week of use. I have yet to comment about the wear of the soles, but the treads feel comfortable enough running on sand and shingle, and the soles overall feels well cushioned.

that are durable and have a good grip. That is exactly what Gel Trabuco 10 offers you. There were a few things to get used to when I started running with Trabuco 10. The shoe is a bit stiffer than the road running shoes that I am used to, but it provides excellent protection and stability for the rough trails in the forest. Its rock protection plate features a flexible construction that protects my feet from tree roots and sharp rocks.

This is my second pair, in last 2-3 years. I have never bought clothing inline, thinking it might not fit or damaged, but these arrived on time, perfect fit and excellent condition being new. These trainers are a secure fit and great for walking and running outside, although I use them for gym work, some trainers slip and slide on surfaces by these have a perfect grip. Will buy again.
I have owned many pairs of Asics running shoes in my time. They have always given excellent service. I run about 800 miles a year over country tracks and they have always protected my feet and legs. I can run in them as soon as I put them on, never getting blisters and protecting my ankles and feet. They last very well and give excellent grip and support in the wet.
Overall I love running in this show. It supports all my trail running needs for long distance. Sticks to the trail, doesnt slap. Feet dont get hot on the downhills.Con: The shoe lace strap wore and broke in less than two months. Now The shoe doesnt fit right. Often feels loose. Cant run trails in this shoew anymore
After about 60 trail-running miles in the Gel-Trabuco 10, I am very happy with them and would buy them again. They have great grip on rock, the right amount of mid-sole cushion, and the lacing system offers good lock-down. The shape of the heel allows for your own natural heel strike and foot plant rather being forced into early pronation like some other brands' "Meta-rocker" heel shape. The rock plate works nicely, it could extend a little further out towards the first metatarsal-phalangeal joints as to protect transverse intermetatarsal ligaments. It would be nice if Asics would incorporate the classic lacing design of this shoe with the rest of the Trabuco Max shoe design. Overall, yes, I will buy another pair of Gel-Trabuco 10s when these hit 500 miles.
Great trail shoe. Have put about 100 miles on them now. Still holding up great. Tread sticks to the trails, very very minimal slippage. Shoes does not "slap" when running. Just need the correct fit. Occasional heat up of the foot on some downhills, but have only noticed it once or twice. Better than my previous solomons and nike trail shoes
Bought these good looking Gel-Trabuco 10's about a month ago, in blue w/ green sole. I've not run in them, but have worked out in them 4 or 5 days. although comfy, I find them just a little big in size, and not as form fitting as I'd like. It may be the fabric, kinda hard not to see any shoe these days sporting a fabric upper. Just seem to lack the lock down fit/support, especially in a trail shoe. Possible a half size smaller would help with that though ?
Love the Gel-Trabuco series. Shoes are extremely versatile. I use them for everything from trail running and hiking to walking the neighborhood. Great traction and stability. Neutral foot stride for those of us who don't pronate or supinate. When I buy my new annual pair the old pair becomes a my comfortable knock around street shoe. They look pretty good in a pair of jeans, too.
