I bought this shoe to wear on a 100km trail walk. I wore them for the first time the other day doing 32km trail walk and can say that overall I was quite happy. I was a little disappointed that 12km in when I took the shoe off to change, the print on the sole had already delaminated.Great in all terrain both wet and dry, except for wet dirt on decline... I found there was absolutely no grip as the tread on the underside faces backwards to assist in acceleration. Comfortability is 10/10 for me personally.

I'm a bigger runner and pronate quite a bit. I've bought the GT2000 Series shoes for a few years now, and I love them. I get 2 pair and rotate them in and out. I use them for training and for races. They're great for a 5k or Half Marathon. If you pronate, I recommend giving these a try. Comfortable with good cushion. Not a sever stability shoe and not a cushion shoe. Kind of in between.

As an ultra-runner i enjoy the trabuco range for ultra trails and the gel kayanos for road running but the GT-2000 gives you the versatility to enjoy all terrains in one shoe. A comfortable fit in its own right with great support. You can't go wrong with this one. Another champion product from Asics

I ordered these runners from the website. Website contained all relevant information. Product arrived as described. Very happy. Good tracking information from order to delivery. This is the second time i have used Asics website and been happy on both occasions. I will be using Asics again in the future
A few trail runs in, these are not disappointing. The weather has been foul, quite cold and very wet, but these have been great. These are in another league from my old GT-2000 8s, which were good. I overpronate, even with orthotics, so these are great as they give just the right additional support.
Ignore the hype about the foam midsoles and "guardrails". For a second year, Asics has decided to make this model TOO MUSHY and TOO SOFT to be a true stability shoe anymore. Also, no longer is there an external "bridge" piece embedded in the midsole. (Sounds like cost-cutting to me). So, what is a traditional series GT 2000 wearer to do? Look elsewhere, of course! Find a Version 9 somewhere if you can but AVOID the versions 10 and 11.
I bought these ASICS a week ago and have to say that over the years the feel, fit and functionality of these have diminished for me. Older models were more robust, springy underfoot and better fitting. Although I bought exactly the same size as my old 2000-7 these already do not feel wide enough and are restrictive in the fitting. Also they don’t feel as springy underfoot. Great delivery time and simple order process however.
The shoe is amazing! I’ve come to love ASICS. I have terrible foot problems and these are the best I’ve found so far. Although, ASICS Customer Service was awful!! I chatted with them and called them… both times I was left feeling like they really didn’t care. They’d gotten their money. When these play out, I’ll be switching to Brooks or Hoka or back to OnCloud
I have walked/run for a couple of years without stretching which caused my calves to be so tight it turned one knee inward. To compensate, my foot rolled onto my big toe more until, I developed a large callus from the heat and friction. I bought these overpronators in hopes of helping balance the issue, it was at a point I could no longer wear dress shoes at work and I was switching to swimming. These became a miracle and I had lost 48lbs being able to keep walking my 13,000 steps a workout when I had gotten to a point I couldn't walk. The callus is even spreading flat across the toe now. Oh, and I stretch now quite a bit. I wear these not only to work, work out but they are all I wear to the point I want to buy them twice, same color and everything. I have purchased the gt2000s over many years, they are the best running shoe I have ever had. The price online with free shipping was very good value. The fact that I was able to get size 11 1/2 and 4E width was fantastic. I have not been able to get this combination for quite a while from shops and other online retailers, so I snapped up this offer when I saw it online.
