Very flexible and comfortable. I have only owned it for less than a month. I am a little concerned about it potentially starting to rip in the middle towards the future, but it may just be a very flexible shoe. I also struggle to have them feel very snug, but I am also used to my shoes having a strap. Overall my most comfortable shoe in 15 years of the sport, but concerns for the future of the shoe and overall durability.

My son just got into wrestling and I help coach the team. I grew up wearing Asics shoes and tried Adidas recently only because I wanted to try something new. My son and I both have wide feet and we switched from the Adidas Mat Hog to these Asics Split Elite. They fit our wide feet very nicely and grip the mat much better than the Adidas. We’re both very happy with how they fit. They do run a little small so we both went half a size up.
Bought Nikes for my HS wrestler and they blew out a seam after 6 weeks of moderate use. Have always thought highly of and had good experience with Asics. Hope these hold up. Style, feel, fit all good. Just a question of durability.
Terribly narrow toe box. Narrow shoe. I’ve always had ASICS but they have clearly decided not to serve their US customer base well. Terrible fit.
Fit like a glove. I've used them for about 3 weeks so far and they work good in practice. I have size 15 and the laces do have to come out at least 1/3 of the way to get them on. This takes longer to get ready. The split sole allows a lot of flexibility.
Great wrestling shoe. I wore them years ago and now my son is wearing them. Light weight and quality construction.
