A shoe is a shoe, these are fine for now

Maybe this is a break in issue but these shoes squeek like crazy. When I'm jogging especially if I step in a puddle then this squeeek-squeeek,squeeek noise starts, it is actually kind of funny, my kids get a kick out of it. When the shoe is dry its perfectly fine so maybe its just avoiding water and thankfully I live in a dry heat area so avoiding puddles is not a big deal. The other issue that is a bit of a bother but I can live with is that their is the slightest sensation that my feet are leaning to the outer left side of each shoe when jogging. If I stand upright without moving or even regular walking I dont feel it as much. Over all a shoe is a shoe. Each one has its ups and downs. I guess Im just a bit finicky now because this is the most I paid for gym shoes.

I have recently started my preparation for the great ocean road marathon, I bought these shoes a few weeks ago and have since quickly become my go to pair of shoes in my training. Previously to the NOVABLAST 3 I was wearing a few different brands. I have been seeing a podiatrist for some pain in my feet that I thought was due to the training load. I quickly discovered that the pain I was experience was actually due to not having the correct shoe. The NOVABLAST 3 is the best fitting running shoe I have worn, no sore spots or hot spots. Loads of cushioning for my longer runs but also nice and light for my tempo/ faster runs. Could not be more happy with the product.

First run in ASICS for a long time but swayed back to this brand by the positivity of the reviews for this shoe. In summary, great shoe. Upper is quite plush, but not overly done. Midsole is the highlight, firm and spongey with a really nice ride. Can do all paces and distances but favours easy runs. Outsole is great but defo loses traction in the wet. Not dangerously so, but feels slightly less grippy. Would recommend

Better Quality and Value Than Most Carbon Fiber Shoes
20 February 2023

These shoes have been some of the best shoes that I've bought. I've had them for about 3 months now and have put at least 200 miles on them, and they have not failed me. The cushioning is superb and there is a smooth and easy transition into strides that keep me going at high speed, they are massively comfortable fit my feet perfectly. I've owned some carbon fiber shoes in the past, my last pair were the New Balance SuperComp trainers, which are great shoes and I highly recommend them but after about 200-250 miles the cushioning that was once firm and more responsive turned to mush. These shoes are about 50 dollars less than the SuperComps and have far better value and durability than any other shoe I've worn.

Brilliant Shoes
21 March 2023

I've been a big fan of Asics for years. I've had Kayano and Nimbus, and still use them, and now the Novablast 3's. I was looking for a shoe to assist in some personal fitness goals I have in terms of running. I'm not a great runner, so I needed something with good propulsion, supportive and very cushioned as I have some issues with my lower legs in the form of compartment syndrome. These are everything I could've asked for and I have hit my goal and then some, and still improving, while the after effects of pain are significantly reduced in my lower legs.

Comfortable
11 January 2023

This is my first Asics. Novablast 3, It is very comfortable shoes for all running types. For 15-20K long runs and 5K distances (fast runs), the road and treadmill is a product that will not be a problem.I can recommend it as a Brooks, Hoka, Mizuno, Saucony, Salomon user. I can say that the foot sole (effect) performance is at the same level as the Hoka bondi 7. Of course, I will see the effects in the beginning phase and in the following periods. Thanks also Runnerinn.com

Fun, bouncy all rounder with a soft upper
12 October 2022

I had the Novablast 1 since it came out and enjoyed the shoe but it had some little annoyances like slightly instability, thin laces that could rub the sides of my ankle, a bit of a bulky tongue & a bit of heel slip. I didn't have need to try the Novablast 2 but was really keen for the 3. The shoe definitely feels like an evolution of the 1. It is fun and bouncy in a similar way while feeling more planted. The upper, tongue, laces are all better now, soft and snug and feels light and airy on foot, more of a forget it's on type feeling which I definitely didn't get in the 1. My first run in the 3 it felt nice and fun but I wouldn't say the ride blew my socks off. However I also just bought the Endorphin Speed 3 and Invincible Run FK2 and after running a couple of runs in each, the Novablast 3 for me could almost replace both of those (so much so I'm selling the Speeds!). If you've run in the Novablast line before these will be familiar but better, and really do perform really well all round. Sizing wise I'm a true US10.5 & had that size in the 1 as they ran big. However I went for US11 in the 3 and for me they're a much more standard runner fit (my other runners are US11s).

More About Traction than Trail but GREAT!
15 October 2022

I wrote a long review about the Novablast 3 and I absolutely love it. In fact, I now have 3 pairs of it in different colorways that I rotate along with a bunch of other shoes from other brands. Being that I average 70~80 miles per week, I can justify having many shoes for both the road and trail. Enamored with the regular road version, I was very intrigued by the TR trail version although I knew that it wasn't meant for technical trails that I also run on a regular basis.Although I love road running and it accounts for two-thirds of my miles, my real passion is in running the trails. Instead of pavement, tarmac, and asphalt, I prefer dirt, gravel, rocks, and tree roots to run over or jump over. I have nearly a dozen trail running shoes but couldn't resist the Novablast 3 TR based on my experience with the regular version for road running.Overall, the TR version provides pretty much everything that the road version does with the addition of higher rubber lugs. There's a lot of talk about the regular version not providing good traction in wet conditions but that isn't an issue for me since I live in very dry drought-stricken Southern California. Still, I wanted to get the TR version and see how it'd handle the trails that I run. I knew even before I ordered the TR version that it wasn't the right one for my runs on technical trails that I run once or twice per week. These trails have very steep hills, lots of rocks and roots, and plenty of abrupt twists and turns. I have other shoes that are better suited for running on such terrains.Soft-cushioned high-stack midsole isn't really what you want for running on challenging terrains at high speeds. You want ground feel and the nimbleness to shift on a dime. Is the Novablast 3 TR the proper shoes for such endeavors? No, it isn't? I believe ASICS and many other brands have better shoes for such endeavors. This being said, the Novablast 3 TR is great for hard-packed smoothened dirt and gravel trails that are, overall, fairly straight with mild hill inclines and declines. Also, for those who are concerned about running in wet road conditions, the TR version is great for better traction but you do need to take into account that it adds about an ounce over the regular road version. As I see it, TR should stand more for 'Traction' than 'Trail'. I will certainly run in the TR on the road when it does eventually rain and get wet in SoCal during the winter months (December through March). I will run in the TR over smoothened dirt trails over long distances but I won't wear it for running on 'technical' trails.I like colorway of the TR. I normally wear white for the road and anything black and very dark for the trail, so the TR fits in fine. I'll happily use the TR for the road when it gets rainy and wet on the road as well as smoothened dirt and gravel trails as I mentioned earlier. For me, the Novablast 3 TR is more about traction than trail and is also great for the occasional road-to-trail situations. The midsole stack is too high for "real" trail running, IMHO. But, if you seek traction and wearing it for "easy" trail running, the NB3 TR is great.Considering how much I love the regular NB3 for the road, the TR version was a no-brainer for wet conditions and running on smoothened straight-ahead trails. For me, it's more about TRaction than TRails and that's how I'd recommend it. The Novablast 3 is an amazing running shoe. I currently have over two dozen shoes I rotate for various running situations, racing and training purposes, and terrains and the NB3 is my favorite overall shoes and gets most of my miles. The TR version is great but comes with a caveat: it's more about traction and for running on limited range of trails. Works great for me but I recommend that you consider your usage case and the particular environments and situations you run in before purchasing the TR version.

This a pair of trainers everyone should at least try. Its just well designed all rounder. Its perfect for gym gowers. Walking. Running. And even looks amazing for night out. The stability and comfort is so superior that the is no room for any complaints. I got this for my wife daughter brother and his wife. Thats how good this pair of trainers are. Its the best so far from Asics. Better than the Cumulus. Nimbus and Kinsei . Try one and you will understand what I'm trying to say here. If at all you don't like them for any reasons. Asics has an amazing refund policy. So nothing to loose at all. So go ahead and experience it.

These are so comfy and cool looking
18 November 2022

I saw good reviews so I decided to grab a pair of these to try. I got the white/dive blue and love them! I normally range between a 9.5-10 for shoes, and am usually a 10 in athletic shoes, but I got these in 9.5 due to some reviews saying they run long. Glad I got the 9.5- they fit perfect. My feet have an average width and average arch and these are wonderful. Supportive both around my foot and beneath my foot, and it feels like I'm walking/running on mini trampolines!! The only this is the outsole is very wide in the back... I have yet to try them out at orange theory, not sure if they will fit in the rowing machine shoe slots but guess I'll find out soon.
