It features a standard foam midsole with cushioning pads in the heel and toe that are adequate for most slight overpronators. However it is not as durable for endurance running as more advanced modern shoes, like it’s sibling the 2090 or the Gel Kayano.

Very good shoe to replace the very good shoe of same type. Delighted as its first time I have bought footwear online.
Overall a reasonable trainer but not for every day use. The front of the trainer where the ball of your foot is and toes has a thin sole and does not give strong support which is a shame but it does seem to be the style at present. The heal is totally different and gives the right support and is excellent.
Very good pair of running shoes for me as a casual runner, I switched from a pair of Adidas ultra boost, the 1090 is much much better, more support and much more stabile, and very affordable. I can only recommend, go up one size, since they run a bit Small.
Great design and good luck however it lacks the comfort for my feet. I already have the asics shoe that is much more comfy light weight and easy to wear.
Very nice shoe and very comfortable. I use them every day for my HIT workouts, but have not tried running with them. Would certainly recommend and very decent price.
Recently bought the Asics GEL-1090... Absolutely adore them... Excellent quality & finish too. Brilliant for my long distance walks of 5 - 12 miles, providing both comfort and support. First time buyer... Asics Convert!
I buy these because I often spend all day on my feet and can cover some distance. They're comfortable and my feet don't get too hot. It helps that they look good and I caught a bargain at the ASICS online store.
