I've used this shoe for many years and it keeps getting better! I love how light weight the shoe is. It also provides you with great stability on court and the new material at the front is a great addition to durability. With that being said, it's a great shoe for anyone who wants to feel fast and agile on court with great grip without sacrificing stability.

Hmm… Not sure. It was hyped up as a big improvement but I’ve immediately experienced some issues. Main one is that the tongue is much higher/longer so it is constantly being pushed away and turning/folding to one side, leaving the laces exposed and the front of the foot / lower leg feeling unsupported. Every few minutes you need to pull the tongue out and straighten it, but before long the same thing happens again.I never had this problem with the FF2s

Had the original speeds and love them. Was concerned these might not be as good. I was wrong. Wore them straight out of the box no break in needed and they were great. Being a pronator I am picky and, these fit the bill .

Great lightweight shoe but doesn’t have deep enough pocket for the heel to fit snugly. If heel is narrow it will slip out unless you purchase a thick heel sock to counter the flawed design. This is the only negative and ASICS has been aware of it since shoe model introduction and release. Simple fix is to add an inch to back part of sneaker!
These are the preferred shoe for my son who plays tennis 3-4 times per week. They are lighter and agile compared to other styles and good for the summer or in door courts. He is 12, and loved the colour. He would like to see more bright, fun colours for shoes, less blue and white please.
First thing, this is a comfortable, light shoe, but maybe not as solid feeling as I’ve had in the past with the gel range. However I can’t describe this shoe as ‘all court’. I slipped on a clay court a couple of weeks ago and broke a rib. I’d had a few occasions where I lost my footing before this, a problem I’d not had with the gel clay shoes. The pattern in the soul is not suitable for clay courts I believe and if this is predominantly the surface you play on I would recommend a dedicated clay court shoe

After having a negative experience with On Roger Pro, i went to various forums to get recommendation on good stable Tennis shoes.Several users recommended ASICS. The Solution Speed didnt require much break-in. Great looking shoe with great fit. Super happy with the purchase. Appreciate companies who seek feedback from consumers.
I previously wore the Solution Speed FF2 model. This update is quite similar. Heel area is slightly roomier, but not as much as some reviews suggest. Would recommend.
I’ve worn this model shoe for years, they were my favorite shoes. This new update has ruined them in my opinion. The sole on the forefoot is considerably wider than the former model, making movement less fluid. They are also larger in general, even in two pairs of socks I have to lace them so tightly around my ankle to keep my foot in the back of the shoe that my outside toe goes numb and my instep throbs in pain. I’m now on a frantic search for something I can play in, I’m down to my last 3 pairs of the Solution Speed FF 2’s.
