AfterPay Available - The JAPAN S shoes are based on one of ASICS throwback offerings from 1981. Updated with a lightweight design and a modified cupsole, this shoe is made for comfort. It's also paired with nostalgic branding, like the ASICS Stripes on the quarter-panels and "ASICS" lettering at the heel. Originally worn by basketball players in the 1980s, this shoe reimagines its iconic court details with a modern lens.

Very comfortable walking shoe. My feet didn’t get sore at all walking miles in these on a recent trip to Portugal and Spain. I highly recommend them. Great support and kept my feet warm and dry from the mild rainy weather!

Honestly these are my go to shoes. So comfortable, especially for the price. Most other shoe brands I struggle with sizing and comfort. But these are always perfect. I always no use asics but the Japan s is just my go to shoe as I said. Works with most outfits as well

Super comfy and good to style with so many outfits. Once you get these bad boys out of the box you almost wish you bought 2 pairs. Not because that's a bad thing but these will even make the lord sing. Anyways I really like them and you will too. These are actually too good you'll be wanting to try and gatekeep where you got them just so no one looks as cool as you.

Comfortable. Good shoe for the price. I work in a warehouse on concrete all day and these shoes function perfectly - I don't think about my feet which tells me they are doing their job. Only time I do think about them is when someone mentions they love the retro look of the old "Tigers."
Loved the looks and the quality, unfortunately 12 was just barely too snug, like to the point that I almost kept them anyways but with the limited walking around my living room they were just too snug, and unfortunately for some reason 12.5 isn’t available? But all the other half sizes are under 12? I looked around and couldn’t find 12.5 wasn’t available in any of the Japan s series. Hopefully someday 12.5 will be available because the quality of these seemed impressive
A very simplistic looking model, but that's actually what I love about this shoe! It's still a stylish and sleek-looking shoe, not too much going on with it like other Sportstyle shoes here, and more comfortable than similar brands like Vans. Another favorite of mine that I hope continues production for a long time.
Just the right fit. Great for around the house and long hours in retail. Ordering my second pair after my first week using them for work. At first I though they were tight and it was a bummer. Usually if a pair of shoes aren't pure sex on the first step it won't make it into my work rotation. These have and I'm super stoked.
Too narrow! Unfortunately, I threw out the box right away. I reached out to ASICS and explained that I never worn the shoes but threw out the box right. But they were like, “oooh we want the original packaging” Guess I’m stuck with the Japan forever in my shoe storage. Wouldn’t recommend if you have wide feet. And I’m Asian! LOL!
This was my first paid of ASICS and I'm SO happy with them. They're super comfortable and look great. They're also pretty affordable for the quality. I was looking for the similar Onitsuka Tiger GSM shoes but those are incredibly hard to find for some reason. The ASICS Japan are a great alternative.
