I rock these at work and was afraid they'd look like nonslip waiter shoes but regardless needed an all black shoe (I work in a hotel) and pulled the trigger on these. Cant wait to get them in the other colors!

I hope this is problem exists only with my pair because one shoe was almost perfect. So I would suggest, order 1/2 size up if you're buying these in order to be truly comfortable.I am trying to order the Platinum version now in size 8.5 as true fit indicates that as my size and I am hoping to get a perfect pair! But until then, my rating will only be poor. Will Update the rating when I try on the Platinum Gel Nimbus 22.

Bring Back The Gel Nimbus 17!!!!!!!

For the love of God, bring back the 17’s. I still break mine out from time to time & wear the because my feet are disappointed in every other shoe. And they are yeeeeeeeears old. As far as these Gel Nimbus 22’s.... “Meh - just meh” & I absolutely am terrified that the fabric is going to tear. I get that folks want ventilation, but this mesh/lace stuff is way too frail. Anyway - I’ve owned Brooks, Nike, Puma, Converse and everything in between..... your Gel Nimbus 17’s have ruined me for every other gym shoe and that makes me sad. Felt great! But cushioning didn't last too long
13 March 2021

I have been wearing these shoes for about 8 months now. For my job I stand all day and was looking for a shoe with supportive and comfortable cushioning that could withstand standing all day in my feet. When I first wore these I LOVED the cushioning. It was the best I've had so far. I could stand long hours without the pain I used to feel; however, I will say the cushioning did not last that long for me. I think I stopped feeling the benefits around 6 months or so and ended up using different inserts in my shoes. I wish they could just sell the inserts for these shoes separately because the rest of my shoe is intact still, but if you're looking for comfortable shoes for a job you have to stand for all day and have enough money to buy new shoes every 6-8 months, then ... MoreI have been wearing these shoes for about 8 months now. Also, I had to go up on size. When I first bought a pair of Asics shoes they were too narrow and small in general (I'm usually a size 7 to 8), hence why I went for the wide width this time, but I bought an 8.5 in these and they fit! They're a tiny bit roomy but I don't mind it after standing in them for so long. I'd rather them be that and have the option to tighten the laces then too constricting on my feet.

Great shoe for my feet, but...
16 August 2022

I've had these for about a year - I was recommended these shoes by my podiatrist for my pronation. They fit my wide feet and orthotics great, however I can't go past how easily these shoes wear and tear!! Within the first three months I saw signs of wear in the mesh fabric over the toes. It has only gotten worse, and am close to my toes hanging out, especially the pinky toes. It's a real shame as these have been some of the comfiest shoes I have owned. Disappointed.

I was actually disappointed
22 April 2020

I know that these were at an amazing price, and they are nice looking shoes. I've worn Kayanos for 16 years and have seen the advances through the various versions. I currently have a pair of worn out 25s. In all the versions, size 13 has always fit perfectly. And I would always drop in a pair of Dr. Scholl's running inserts. Fit every time. These feel like they are at least a half size too small. The inserts don't fit. I can't run in them. If they were 14s they'd probably be fine, but these are too small - and that's a first for any Asics Gel Kayano I've purchased. I'll keep them because the price was amazing and they are fine for wearing casually, but I'll never run in these.

Lightweight and comfortable
4 October 2021

These shoes are really lightweight and comfortable. I did replace the insoles with specialized ones for my own feet, but they fit great! I work on my feet all day and found that I don't feel sore after work. I was surprised that the top toe part was air-y rather than a solid covering. I hadn't noticed that until my feet got really wet walking in some wet grass one morning. Then I discovered the screen/mesh type top and the holes. The top keeps my feet from sweating at work, but also lets in the morning dew from the grass. I'd still purchase them again.

My love-hate relationship with ASICS Nimbus
8 November 2021

I've been wearing ASICS shoes for roughly eight plus years and used to love them because of their generous toe box and fantastic cushioning. Then the toe boxes got narrower, and even worse, the cushioning got stiffer. I stuck with the Gel Nimbus, though, because it was still the best among the other styles and brands. The pandemic has caused my feet to get longer and broader, and so I finally switched to the "Wide" shoe. It is definitely more comfortable in the toe box, but the cushioning continues to be stiff. Where is the GEL??? My other final gripe is that the "Wide" shoe is not that much wider than the current "Normal" width shoe. The reason for the "4" is -- as I mentioned earlier -- it still seems to be closest in fit and comfort for me than any other shoe out ... MoreI've been wearing ASICS shoes for roughly eight plus years and used to love them because of their generous toe box and fantastic cushioning. Runs Small
24 June 2021

Looked great, felt that Kayano comfort, but ran small. Second Kayano shoe (other being the 27 I bought on Amazon) to have my regular size not fit me. It's odd because the Kayano 21 trainers fit me perfectly in my regular size; as did my Kayano 25's.I don't know what Asics changed with their manufacturing, but the inconsistency in sizing is quite frustrating. Only reason I haven't returned them yet is because I don't have the original packaging and am waiting until the weekend when I can make the lengthy drive to an Asics outlet.

Very Bad quality

Bad Quality!!!! Wast of money.I bought them on 2 August last summer. I cannot remember when I received it. What I am sure is that I have not had any chance to do exercise with them because I have suffered from low back pain since the late of August. I only wear them for walking: visiting my doctors, walking to Campus to have class, or hanging out with my friends sometimes when I feel better. However, they worn out quickly. See photos below.Compared to my previous shoes (other brand) bought in the Spring 2017 (Please see the last photo. Yes, the texture is so good that you cannot find any broken holes or part!!
