This is my second pair of Gel-Kayano 29MK and I love them. Love the comfort and that my toes haven't gone through the top of the shoe despite having worn them for over 12 months at gym, walking the streets and 8 days walking the Cape to Cape in WA on beaches, over rocks and sandunes and craggy tracks. They were pushed to the limit and I was one of only a couple of walkers that didin't suffer from blisters or shoes full of sand.

These shoes have the tongue built into the shoe not the traditional separate tounge and sides making them difficult to put on and tight around the ankle and top of foot. Not comfortablelike Kayanos usually are. Not a fan of this design would prefer if they went back to how shoes should be

I bought these shoes a couple of weeks ago and when they arrived I realised they had a built-in tongue, which I really dislike. I need to lace-lock my runners for added support and this shoe does not allow for that. I love ASICS in general but disappointed with this one.
I have been wearing Kayano’s since the 1st design so I was really excited when I took them out if the box and put them on, extremely comfortable however the toe box is really wide, too wide. It bunches up and feels like I’m wearing slippers. Very disappointed as they felt really comfy.
As soon as I started wearing these the purple parts on the bottom of the show started coming off! Very poor quality
I bought these 6 weeks ago. The sole is already coming apart.
