I purchased these shoes a few months ago. I absolutely fell in love with them immediately after trying them on. Although this shoe is made for someone with normal to high arches, it has definitely been a Godsend for my flat feet. After a few injuries from jumping out of airplanes to constant ruck marches, I have shifted my mileages for running and I now run about 20-30, comfortably, miles a week and they way my feet feel before-during-after my runs are amazing. These sneakers are so comfy! It feels like you're walking on air when you have them on! I bought these in the white so they could match all my workout sets and the brighten my fits for the gym very nicely. I'm usually a 8.5 in women's sneaker and these fit a bit snug in that size. I did try the 9 also but I felt like they were just too loose so I kept the 8.5 and hopefully they just stretch with time. These are by far my favorite gym shoes especially for weight lifting because they are comfy yet flat for the foot to maximize lifting form. :)

I really wanted to love these shoes. I have plantar fasciitis and the heal area doesn’t seem very cushioned. I’m using specialized inserts which helps. I’m glad the shoes don’t rub the back of my heal and the fit is perfect…I did go up 1/2 a size. I bought 2 pairs and got an awesome deal so I decided to keep them. They are super cute so I can wear them for everyday use, just not great on the treadmill. I’m not a huge fan of the laces on them , but not a deal breaker. I’m still looking for the perfect running shoe.

This was my first purchase ever of an ASICS shoe and it WILL be my last! Based off glowing reviews, I decided to try this training shoe. I was looking for a cushioned shoe that provided stability ad comfort during cardio and circuit training workouts. First, the fit was totally off. Too tight in the toe box and really loose on the heel. No stability whatsoever - my foot was sliding around everywhere during workouts and my toes kept tingling because of the bad fit in the toe box. Wow! These were just awful and caused sprains in my toes on my right foot so badly that I had to lay off my workouts for 10 days and I started having pain in my left hip due to the instability of the shoe. I normally take a size 8 trainer but I ordered a 8 and half to be on the safe side..The length of the trainers were fine but I found them bit tight on the width and I wouldn't say I have particularly wide feet. The material the trainers are made of is quite rigid and plasticy and creased by the toe.. I tried the trainers out for 25mins on the treadmill and initially I noted the difference in the comfort in comparison to my old trainers and appreciated the technology that had gone into the soles.. I bought these shoes because of a positive review I read in Better Homes and Gardens. I walk about 42 miles a week and my current shoes were worn out. I wore the shoes around the house for several days before wearing them outside and they seemed okay. As soon as I started wearing them outside, I got very sore places on my heels and ankles. I kept wearing them thinking I could break them in. I had to use bandaids on both feet. The problem is I am diabetic and can't risk the problems with my feet. I had to buy a different pair of shoes and they are working out very well. I just hate the fact that I can't return the Asics because I wore them outside, but I never had a problem until I did wear them outside. I am just out the money I spent on these shoes.
Nice sneaker. Bought these on sale as an extra pair for training and walking and leisure. I'm now a size 10 but at the border for 10/10.5 for Asic. The gel-cumulous fit well at 10.5 but if you are the size border...for the quantum 180 5 get the size10. These seem to provide more stability which is great for the trails around my neighborhood. Love the color. The description didn't talk about over or under pronation or arches just talked about the tech. The gel and heel are very comfortable. The sneaker is much stiffer than the cumulous and nimbus. But that is ok for what I use them for. Love the white/coral color. I did have to use the top hole at the ankle for the laces. I do not for the nimbus and cumulous.
Terrible shoe, uncomfortable and fell apart within a month. I have worn gel kayano’s for 5 years. I run approximately 20-30 km per week. My gel kayano’s last between 6-12 months even when I run in them outside frequently. I purchased these to try something different as I do have wide feet and kayano’s are a little narrow for me. These do not have the same support as kayano’s, I immediately got sore knees and feet. The shoes laces broke in the first month and by month two there was a hole in them. I would have returned them but we were stuck in the middle of lockdown and couldn’t go in store. I would not recommend.
I am someone who forgets how long I have had my runners and years later I realise ‘wow I better update my runners’. These ASICS are super comfortable, super supportive and fit my foot perfectly. I love the colour scheme, it is just a bit different than the usual white runner. I have worn them walking and I find them long-wearing and very comfortable. I also received them super fast which I was also very pleased about.
