I run somewhat supine (on the outside edges of my feet), about 60% hard surface and 40% dirt, about 25/30-miles/wk. The GEL-Venture in its various iterations have been my go-to shoes for many years now. Just ordered my second pair. I'm a zookeeper and wear through shoes and boots like crazy. These shoes have lasted just at a year before needing to be replaced- a new record for me! I've tried different hiking shoes, work boots, shoes meant for the kind of walking I do, 5 days a week. Asics Gel Venture shoes are not only super comfortable, they last longer than other shoes. My average daily distance is about 5 miles on concrete/gravel/dirt. I'll continue buying these shoes as long as they are available!

Bought these shoes in Feb 2018 online from Amazon— Outdoor Equipped was retail sub outlet. Wore them twice and experienced metatarsal foot pain. There is little to no cushioning in the forefoot of the shoe. Made multiple attempts to return for credit with Amazon, Outdoor Equipped, and ASICS. Lots of apologies and excuses but NO LUCK. I had been an ASICS steady customer for several years, but they sell a cheaper product now. You lost a customer today. Suggest shoppers avoid your shoes too, especially those sold through Amazon. Their A to Z guarantee is worthless.

These shoes arrived in a very timely manner even during the midst of this pandemic! I haven't had new shoes in so long. I started walking again and needed new shoes. I couldn't shop or try on a shoes to find the best fit so I just ordered Asics because they were the last shoes I bought and they have lasted so long. These new ones are comfortable, attractive and were extremely affordable! Everyone loved the colors and so do I. I love the dark soles that will look clean and neat even after much wear outdoors. Thanks for my new shoes and my happy feet!
Very comfortable, the material is lovely. Shoe fits well - I have wide feet so this is usually hard to manage. It looks nice and I can wear it casually if I want. Only thing I would say is that the grip/ridges on the bottom of the shoe is quite deep (which is great for grip) but it also means that it is easy for things to get stuck there like dirt. Otherwise, great shoe!
My 2 previous pairs of shoes were Asics and I tried a couple of times to buy replacements locally. Stores didn't seem to have many Asics. The 3 pairs of shoes I bought (not Asics) I didn't like. I was reluctant to buy direct from Asics because without being able to try on shoes I wondered how that would work out.I finally went to the Asics site and with the help of a chat agent who I told how I was going to use the shoes and a couple of other bits of personal information. The agent was able to determine the model of my previous Asics a couple of current models that would be most like my previous shoes. I selected and bought a pair. I received them and I'm very happy with them. They fit and feel like my previous pair!
Shoe if fine but listed weight is grossly inaccurate. Asics specification lists the weight at 10 ounces. I purchased the shoes, placed the pair on my kitchen food scale and determined the actual weight to be 24 ounces for the pair.I’m climbing Mt Whitney this summer, about 22 miles and 10,000 paces. An extra half-pound per step means My legs are lifting 5000 extra pounds that day compared to the advertised weight.
These shoes are a great buy. Walking in them is heaven. Sizing is good. Have a good sporty look.For me the rope on the back is too colorful tho, I’d prefer it if it was white or slightly beige like the rest of the shoe.
Nice looking sneaker. I needed a wide so as per customers reviews said there was ample room. Since no wide was available I went with my regular size and the left one was really tight. Had to put a shoe stretcher to stretch them out. If I went up a size they would of been too big. So if u need a wide these are not for u.

The fit is very comfortable, even after a full shift on hard surface with varying fast paced activities. The look goes well with my work attire, however, the one complaint I do have is with the laces. They would constantly come loose right after tying, even though I would double knot them. Since they are used as work shoes, I always do this as a safety precaution. I was already considering buying new laces, but now I just make sure my knots are really tight which seem to do the trick.
