I’ve been wearing Asics for over 10 years now and I really enjoy the fit and feel of the GT 1000. The comfort I feel when running makes the jog makes it that more enjoyable knowing the feet are hugged by genuine support. I jog outdoors regularly so it’s nice to know I have the right shoes needed to keep the strides and body on the right track! Definitely a shoe I would recommend especially for the hard surface/pavement/treadmill runs.

Overall, it is a bit small. It's like half size down. Too shallow as well. And the width too. Seems like a standard size than a wide size. It is pretty hard to find a pair that has a nice color for wide shoes because most of them are black or dark colors. Hope Asics can offer more varieties of colors for wide size in the future.

This show is amazing! It fits well, provides great support, and looks stylish. This is the second year in a row I have purchased them for my mother. She wears a size 9.5 and the sizing is always accurate.

Super comfy shoes. Worn only once and straight away they were lovely and cushioned and fit really well. Like the other reviews I went a size up and the fit was perfect. Great shoe at a great price. Look cool too.
Hands down the best gym shoes I’ve ever owned. Love the fit, feel and look. I’m an avid walker and occasional jogger. I have bunions which have caused me to get wide widths over the years. The 7.5W fits me perfectly without looking clunky. I have ZERO foot pain with these shoes. Absolutely love the style. The light material gives them a great feel. They go with everything and the purple bottom, my favorite color, gives them a little flair. I have worn a lot of different shoes including ASICS and these shoes are by far the best look and feel.
Having been pleased with previous asics I was optimistic in ordering these. They are advertised specifically for overpronation but they were not supportive for me. One foot is achy and the ankle opposite the overpronated sole is aching as well- it's supporting the foot- not the shoe advertised to do so. The return policy is not helpful- I couldn't know that the support for my overpronation would be negligible until I had worn them (inside on clean floors!) for a few days yet I can't return. Clever policy.
Unfortunately these are not for me! After one wear running 5k I have blisters on the side of both heels and on my ankles. It hurt so much half way I stopped to check if I had stones in my trainers, but I didn’t it was just the trainers! Shame because now I’ve worn them I’m stuck with them but I don’t think I’ll ever wear them again. I’ve never had trainers before which caused such bad blisters after just 5k
Ok quite narrow Vs previous models . The whole of ASICS have had a revamped and lost what they originally did well, a stable running shoe.They seem to have jumped on the band wagon of Hokka. Massively cushioned which can compress the toes. Really not liking the range anymore.Nimbus and Cumulous I don't recognise from version 24/25 the GT are a fall back option now.
Over the years I have purchased several styles of ASICS shoes. Through trial and error, I found that the GT style works the best for my foot structure. I noticed immediately how the shoe cradled my foot. Especially in the heel bed. Realizing that everyone's foot is structured differently, you have to dig into the research that ASICS provides on every shoes to find the right fit for you. I have a narrow heel, yet somewhat a wide ball portion of the foot. The GT works great for that. I have 2 older pairs of the NOVABLAST and my feet slide all over the place in those.
I really liked these runnning shoes and the blue is striking. I’m a 7.5 and took 7.5 but my big toes touched the tip of the shoes so I had to return them. Size 8 was unavailable. One thing that puzzled me was when you walk, the inside front tip where the big to is tilt inside. I am not too sure I would have liked that but if I could have tried these shoes in my size I would know for sure. I wanted wide shoes because I have bunions but narrow heels and those shoes were wide enough in the front and narrow enough in the heel area to fit me well. I also have a high instep and the shoes were comfortable.
