Have never been a fan of ASICS so has been several years that I’ve even considered wearing them. I bought this pair because my physical therapist recommended them and I’m so glad I did. They are so comfortable. My foot feels like it is being supported by a pillow. And my walking gait has improved. So happy with this purchase!

I walk with under pronation and have been having a lot of trouble with pain in my left ankle. Contacted Hamish at ASICS and while he couldn’t recommend the exact shoe without seeing me he did steer me in the right direction. So I took a chance and ordered the Gel Cumulus online and struck it right first time. These shoes remove the jarring shock when walking on pavements and hard surfaces and I’m doing long walks with my dog everyday and the ankles have stopped acting up. Highly recommend these shoes if you are having problems with ankles and heels. Very supportive and well cushioned. Yea

I bought mine January 21 when I joined the local running club to achieve 5k. I was running about 15k per week and I loved them. So comfortable and great colours and styling. I stopped using them about June when the weather got to hot for running and have taken it up again for the last 2 months. My only complaint is that I always wear a hole in the right foot by my big toe. I have ASICS that I use at leisure centre classes that have the same problem. I will say I have very cared for toenails so I don’t consider it my fault. By my calculations I have only done about 300 miles in them and I would be very surprised if they lasted another 200 miles which is the average expectation

Amazing running shoes! The cushioning is the right amount to be supportive and provide comfort. The fit is perfect and not too narrow. Good grip on the pavement even in wet weather. I also like the reflective strips on the back, the shoes are stylish and look good. I have nothing bad to say about the product!I was originally sent a worn and dirty pair of trainers, obviously I was disappointed but I was happy with how my complaint was dealt with, quickly and efficiently.I will never shop anywhere else for my running shoes!!
It is a pair of high mileage shoes that actually cost a bit less than shoes like the nimbus. They are particularly comfortable if you have wide feet or prefer a bit more room in your toe box. This has been fantastic for my mild bunion toe! Or if you have wide feet and looking for a pair of versatile anf every day trainer, lool no further!
I have only just purchased this shoe today BUT, I do have the exact same shoe but in a different colour. Bought it online as I live 3 hours away from my nearest running shoe outlet. Light weight, springy feeling and comfortable. I have wide feet and had went to the running shop as I normally do and this was one of the brands that was suggested after I had my gait analysis. I wont be through again to that shop anytime soon so went with what I know will be a good shoe for me. I only gave it 4 stars rather than 5 as I felt they took ever so slightly longer to 'break in' that previous brands. I have wide feet and they felt a little snug for few weeks of 5K runs but a month later back to 20 miles/week and super comfortable. Liked this red colour, so same shoe but ... MoreI have only just purchased this shoe today BUT, I do have the exact same shoe but in a different colour. Thank you, Asics, for continuing to make THE BEST running shoes for narrow feet! I tried all the competitor brands when Asics stopped making narrow sizes for the Gel Nimbus and then when I was unable to find a Gel Cumulus in the narrow width and there is no comparison. Asics understands that those of us with narrow feet don't just want a narrow upper on a medium sole, we want a snug fit in the entire shoe. Both the Gel Cumulus and the Gel Kayano fit my narrow feet like a glove and have the best cushioning and durability on the market. Please continue to carry these great shoes in narrow sizes and I will continue to rave about them to everyone I know!
I have worn ASICS cumulus for years and loved them. I had bought the 23s and I'm not sure why they had to make the toe so stiff but it feels like they got half a size smaller with how shallow the toebox feels. I kept wearing them thinking they would break in but my second toe has been impacted to the point where my toenail is going to fall off. I have never had any issue with my cumulus before this pair. I thought maybe my feet had grown or stretched but the issue started immediately when wearing those shoes. I'm going to have to try a new line of shoes and I'm so disappointed.
I have had the past 5 models of Cumulus and always appreciated them for being very responsive shoes. This version feels super mushy underfoot; fine for walking around all day, but for a running shoe, not what I want. It feels like I'm sinking into the shoe and wasting energy. Unfortunately this is still the least cushioned wide shoe ASICS has, so I will have to find another brand.
The shoes were very narrow through the arch, yet the toe box was still fairly wide. Wore them on the treadmill for under 5 minutes to see if they were going to work, extremely uncomfortable. Called to see if I could return, since I wore on the treadmill they said no. Probably won’t purchase another pair, no way to tell if they’ll work.
