This is my first pairs of Asics. Black is good as it is more dirt prone. First, it is Gore-Tex (keep my feet dry, I buy Gore-tex shoes only) and it is sold at 34% discount. It is not the lightest pairs compare with my other runners of other brands. It runs a bit small as i wear same size for other runner, I feel it is smaller and shorter. One thing I like most is that it is quite roomy in toe box area. I have wide feet, therefore, the toe box is comfy. For breathability, it is so-so. I wear merino socks, there is sweat soaked inside the socks (no a issue on other Gore-Tex runners). And some smell after full day wearing. I put dryer's sheet into the shoe box to absorb odor. Overall speaking, I would recommend this product. Hope this pair is durable.

The Gel Nimbus 23 is my favorite running shoe. I use it in spring and fall as it's not great below 30F or above 60F. I use some "light" version of the Gel Nimbus in the summer. I don't love it, but I'm not complaining much. I use some much cheaper Asics trail shoe in the winter as it's a warmer shoe and is basically waterproof. I can stomp in puddles and such with little issue. I expected a better version of the cheapo Asics trail shoe and I almost got it.I'm signed up a for trail run so I wanted to get a new pair of trail shoes. I bought these. They fit perfectly right from the start and needed basically zero breaking in. They feel good and were lighter than I expected....lighter than my Gel Nimbus 23s. I ran on the street to get to the trail. No issues! Great!Once I got on the trail I decided to run through some grass at 7am in July. We have lots of dew here. As best as I can tell, these shoes sucked up more moisture from the grass than was actually available. Yes, these shoes break the laws of physics! (Slight exaggeration.) My toes were soaked in 100 yards of running in grass. Yuck! After finishing the 4 miles my feet looked like I had soaked them for 30 minutes. I've never seen that before. So, I'd say these are the perfect trail running shoe for me if I ever run in the desert. As is, I'm not sure what to do with them. Maybe I can wait for another drought or something. I tried spraying them with some waterproofing spray. It knocked the moisture down maybe 60% but it was still completely excessive. I guess I'll spray them again. These shoes seem to let moisture in and not EVER let it out. It even takes them longer to dry than any running shoe I've ever seen.

I first met this brand during the pandemic and trabuco in version 9 and I loved them; now I just bought the trabuco version 10 and its lightness makes a tremendous perfection in the great design. Thanks to Asics I have been able to get back to running and jumping when I thought it was already impossible. Recommended!!! Highly recommended!!!! (My partner bought the same ones and now he never takes them off hahaha...I'm thinking of buying them for my parents who are already old, hopefully it will also help them to be able to move more...).
Great shoe and Great price! Bought another shoe, but returned it b/c it didn't fit as well as this model. Prior to this one, bought the version 5 and loved it. Used it until it feel apart - lots of miles walked! Wanted same shoe and when visited the outlet store, couldn't fit it in the color wanted. Went online to Zappos and found it in a nicer color spectrum...and it was on sale!! Yay!! Lucky day. Highly Recommended.
I love this shoe - great fit, very comfortable - the reason for the 3 star rating is that it is showing wear and ripping at the top collar lining where your foot goes after only 1 month of use. I walk daily - 5 miles - have not mistreated the shoe but this defect was not covered under warranty. I am very disappointed because it makes the shoes look bad & I am afraid they won't last. It is a shame because I really do love the shoe & seems to have helped my foot pain when walking. I highly recommend as long as you don't mind that they start looking like they are falling apart so quickly.
ASICS has gone downhill in general. I’ve been running in their shoes for 10 years. The last 5 pairs I’ve tried by them have been terrible. They hurt my feet and the material is cheap. It’s really a shame. These shoes in particular has zero cushion for impact and the tread was designed poorly. Definitely my last pair I’m going to buy. Now it’s time to find a new running shoe brand.
I began to have pain problems in my ankle, during more than a month. I didn't understand why. Until I saw a review of how Trabuco 10 sole was really wearing out very fast on the inner side. As I still had older Trabuco 9 with more mileage I compared them just to see how bad and fast the sole of Trabuco 10 was worn out. This problem was provoking the ankle to suffer much in long runs. I put my older Trabuco 9 shoes and did a long run just to notice that I didn't have any problems.
ASICS is my brand of choice since many moons. The fact that they have half sizes really makes me completely sure that my feet fall really comfortable in any shoes. The Trabuco are my go to shoes for trail running. They're light, adapt to my foot, and never cause me any pain or injury. The wife doesn't like the colour but, they, at least I can be seen from a distance. And I do really like the colour. So, the wife dosn't have any vote on the matter. Not that she won't say it out loud.... All in all, these are my preferred bt of gear for trail running. They do well in sand, mud and slippery conditions. And they really last long..... in terms of material. If you go running a lot on the road, the sole will be gone in no time. But, for trail running, it will last!
Used for 22km so far, over some very technical terrain. Very impressed, in that I simply haven’t noticed the shoes at all. No niggles, no rubbing, no slipping/loss of grip. They’ve simply just got on with the job. Previously I’ve been buying Hokas, but they fall apart too quickly, I wanted to try a different brand. I’ve tried Salomon and Inov8, but had discomfort in both. If they last, I will definitely be buying them again.
