I went to a running store local to me, and I tried on Hokas, Brooks and ASICS, and the ASICS won out. I know big squishy shoes are "in" the last couple years, but with my weakened ankle (after I broke it), I felt unbalanced and at a higher risk of rolling it. I love these shoes, and this is the 2nd pair I have bought (first ones were the Violet Quartz color which I love as well!). I need a larger toe box, and these are loads better than the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus I used before. I'm usually a 8/8.5 shoe size, so I picked the 8.5 to accommodate swelling during exercise.

No break-in time required, comfortable and light weight, perfect fit. I've been wearing Asics for years - they are hands down my favorite running shoe. Perfect amount of support and cushion. I will always purchase Asics. I was super disappointed to see some unfortunate changes made to the GT-2000 series, mostly with the size. I ordered the GT-2000 11 online and you can see the size difference in my photos with my old GT-2000 9. These are both Women's size 11 shoes. The 11 is WAY bigger. Hoping they will let me return them. The material is also different. So, just a fair warning if you are looking to purchase your trusty GT's. They have changed! I contacted customer service and she said she would email me a warranty claim but I haven't received anything yet.

Super comfortable shoes. ASICS are my favorite brand for shoes. I have one pair that’s several years old. Wear them to work, gym, and everywhere else. Great support. Comfortable. Nice looking running shoes, also. Got a new pair, but didn’t like that particular shade of gray so unfortunately returned the shoes, but will definitely keep looking out for ASICS running shoes to eventually replace my current, old ASICS.
I was glad to find this older style shoe in my size because I am not happy with the new neon colors, fancy designs and fat heels. I have worn Asics for years and have been happy with fit and comfort and I wear them everyday, all day with pants, shorts and skirts. I don't need something crazy looking on my feet that stands out but that seems to be all you make now. Very disappointed but glad, after a lot of searching was able to find one of your older more neutral looking shoe. I will be happy until these wear out.
Many years ago my foot surgeon recommended Asics and I've worn them since 1995. I had a knee replacement in June 2022 and hadn't been able to wear an athletic shoe since. I'm happy to say I purchased 3 new pairs of Asics and am back to wearing my Asics for every 12-16 hour shift. Being a Nurse, I am on my feet most of the shift and my feet don't hurt when I get home. I rotate my Asics, one pair each day of the week that I work, so I don't break down one pair as fast. I love my new GT-2000 11's as they are incredibly comfortable and stylish. I've gotten so many compliments on them but the best part is my feet don't hurt. I will never wear another shoe!
I was a bit skeptical in buying these because I have tried every expensive running shoe known to man, and none have worked. But these shoes are an absolute godsend! I am a bit bowlegged so running was something I couldn’t do for too long without getting shin splints or the bottom of my feet hurting like crazy. I actually enjoy the stress relief that running brings me, so the pain would discourage me from taking it up as a full time hobby. But, that’s all changed with these shoes. I can now run for long periods of time with zero pain and it feels great. It’s almost like magic! 10/10 recommend!

This was my first pair of Asics and I am highly disappointed. I went to a running store in search of good quality walking shoes and came across these shoes. The running store put me on the treadmill and recommended an insole to correct my stability and recommended these shoes as a good choice for my particular situation. Unfortunately, they did not have any colors I liked at the running store, so I went home and order some online. I went directly through the Asics website to make sure they weren't knock offs or something like that. I was hoping it would fit like my old GT-2000 8's but alas. Remember those toning shoes circa 2010 that had air pockets in the soles are were supposed to help you burn more calories? That's what these feel like. The cushion feels like it's going to last 3 months. Also, this was one of the smaller heels - how come you're trying to look like HOKA, Asics? We love you for you. Don't try to be something you're not.I still like the way they fit my foot and I usually have a good enough idea what I'm getting to order them online without trying them on because I live in the boonies. Ultimately it's fine but I'm still a little disappointed. Maybe next time.
When traveling, I like to wear a comfortable black outfit but need very comfortable sneakers. I got these in black on black so they do not stand out, and they allowed me to walk for miles and were extremely comfortable. I did go up half a size larger in these than my other Asics. I do suffer from plantar fasciitis and these are fantastic sneakers for that. I did try on some of the other styles in black on black and I just preferred how dark black these were and they didn't seem to look as wide as some of the others.
