I was excited to read the info about this shoe and I put it into action the same day it arrived. I am a fast walker . . . 3-5 miles several days a week. I have worn Asics for years and loved them all. But I have NEVER worn such an uncomfortable shoe. My feet hurt with nearly every step. The shoe has no give in the fabric at all, so my skin is always rubbing on the stiff material and the pressure points are just hammered. And I would swear they are a half size shorter than other Asics in this size I have worn. I'm going to have to toss these into the everyday bin and find something else. I will injure my feet if I attempt to 'break them in'. This is a fail for sure. I would return them if I could. I do NOT recommend this shoe. I was a runner in youth then got back into it as an older adult for fitness and weight loss. Then I got sick. And was not able to walk well let alone run. But was recently cleared to run again. I bought the updated version of my old favorite. It didn’t feel good and hurt to run. Tried a variety of shoes. Nothing worked. Then I found these and ordered them. Right out of the box comfortable!! Cushioned insole, good support, doesn’t rub my heels, good toe box space, and makes me very happy that I’m supported and comfortable for my runs. I will be ordering another pair of these as now I’ve been back running 3-4 miles a day everyday for 6 weeks. And will want to have another pair ready when these have gave their soles (lol) for my fitness.

This was my first time buying Roadblast. I actually bought two pairs (different colors) because they were on a great sale. I broke them in for a week and the next week alternated between the two pairs while at Walt Disney World. I averaged about 15k steps per day and they were fantastic! I would definitely buy again. I wear them to the gym for HIIT & cardio classes and love them for that too.

Great running shoe and awesome price
5 February 2022

This shoe is a great running shoe. I primary run in these as I am training for a faster 5k but I also wear them while weight training. Right off the bat they were comfortable and lightweight. I love the design and colors. They aren’t so wild but have enough colors to look cool. I took out the insoles because I have my own custom shoe orthotic insoles. They fit in perfectly. These run true to size. I liked them so much I bought three pairs for when I need to replace them due to wearing them down. The first pair I am wearing now I have worn for four weeks and I am glad that I purchased them.

Great shoe overall

Overall a great running shoe. I bought them for work and love them, I work a desk job at a dental office. Comfortable, breathable and light. Great arch support. Only downside is they're a little narrow. I typically wear women's 11 M which is what I bought. On the sides of the tongue (where they lace up) my socks (thin) show through about a mm on each side. So, I'll probably lose weight or wear black socks. Not a deal breaker.

I love my new ROADBLAST running shoes!!
22 May 2020

I have worn Asics for years now, and I can't say enough about my new Women's Roadblast running shoes. The toebox design and knit material make the fit perfectly comfortable, but also supportive. These give just enough room for my toes and they fit my feet much better than my other Asics in the past, which fit fine, but always had a "breaking in" period where my big toe would be rubbing the side of the shoe for a good month or two before giving space. I also really like the sole very much on these running shoes. I have been transitioning from being an tired, ole heel-to-toe runner from the past, to becoming a solid mid-foot striker, and I feel these soles lend themselves to this style of running. The soles give nice bounce and stability, they are wide with a little bit of curve on the edges to help guide the foot to ease into landing where it is supposed to for mid-foot strike. The whole shoe is light and easy to run on. I haven't yet tried them in wet weather yet, and so am not sure how the knit material will hold up. Also wondering if there will be a version in the future with the same general design but more traction on the bottom of the sole for off-road/trail running.

Nice and Comfortable
16 May 2022

I read a review for this shoe before buying and someone mentioned felling like you’re “walking on a cloud.” I’ll definitely say the extra support in the shoe is super comfortable. It’s very soft and lined well. I like that it doesn’t have a hard arch, which can sometimes be a pain. These shows are good to walk or run long distances comfortably!

Not comfortable
16 September 2020

I've been wearing ASICS for over ten years. The shoe I really loved was the Dynaflyte. That was a perfect balance for sprint work and distance. It was comfy and breathable, yet supportive. I'm assuming the Roadblast is the replacement for the Dynaflyte. It doesn't compare in my opinion. The material feels cheap and it is NOT comfortable. I find it also lacks good support even with inserts. I would never do more than 2-3 miles in this shoe. I'm actually giving them away because I"m worried they will do long-term damage to my joints and tendons. Also, the tongue is too short and I have to pull the laces tight to cover the top of my foot if that makes sense. I also have quite a bit of rubbing on the heel. I've never had either problem with ASICS before. It's strange. ... MoreI've been wearing ASICS for over ten years. The shoe I really loved was the Dynaflyte. Perfect for a casual everyday running shoe

I was excited to receive the Brand New RoadBlasts, mainly because I’ve been blown away with all the new asics trainers - MetaRacers, NovaBlasts and Cumulus 22’s! Sadly I’ve not been blown away with these....Don’t get me wrong the style and colours are amazing but as an actual running shoe I found them a little flat. However, that doesn’t mean they’re not a great trainer to wear. I wouldn’t class them as a racing or marathon shoe but more of an everyday/casual Trainer.A major positive is they’re super light! So I’d definitely use them as my recovery run shoe to help the legs. Another bonus is they’re not too pricey. All in all if you’re looking for a stylish, colourful, light shoe then these are fab! So comfortable!
11 August 2020

My shoe for the last few years has been the GT -2000 7. I am a moderate runner, but mostly need the shoes for the gym and Hiit training. The last month I have been in a lot of pain from Plantar fasciitis and a heal spur. I was wearing an insert to help. It was time for some new shoes, and I decided to try a different style. I can't speak highly enough about these shoes if you have a heel spur or PF!! I don't wear the insert when wearing these. Ran in them, lots of jump squats and more and NO PAIN! LOVE these shoes!! With my GT-2000 7, I needed a week or 2 to really break them in. These fit perfect and barely any break in time.
