Great little smoker for 1 to 2 people. Easy to use, keeps good temperature, and the orange color looks great. The downside is that it weighs 45lbs. and needs to be put on a cart with wheels to move around easily and it doesn't have carry handles, only a handle for the door. If you carry it by the door handle, everything inside will get jumbled. This is not something that you take on a camping trip where you have to carry it any distance. But for home use it's great.

Would not hold a set temperature. The Asmoke would over heat and shutdown for no reason. It would be on the setting of smoke and overheat. Something definitely something wrong with the unit.We tried to cook on it for about 3 weeks everyday to break it in and do inital burns. Contacted company and followed there direction that didn't work so we returned the unit.

Followed instructions for burn in period and starting using the smoker with two racks of ribs using the 321 receipt. After the initial three hours my $40 dollars worth of ribs were charred black on the bottom...sprayed every half hour with apple juice did not help. Seems the temperature controller leaves a lot to be desired. Reached out to company who says its still breaking in and try again! Looks like another $40 bucks in ribs will go up in smoke followed by my return of the unit! Also, never recived the grill cover that was suppose to be included with unit...disappointing!

This grill is dangerous. The company is not from Texas or Minnesota as they would have you believe. I have a brand new as350, I have tried it but never been able to cook on it! The temperature when set at 225° will spike above 450° and drop as low as 138°. The company has admitted it has a faulty controller, but wants money to replace the faulty part even though the grill was faulty from the manufacturer. If you want a portable pellet grill, buy Pit Boss or Traeger, don't waste your money.
I wanted to add a tabletop pellet grill to our campsite cookers. This one seem to be the best quality of the ones I compared. The day after I got it, I did the assembly and burn in, then turned it up to 350*.I cooked a whole chicken and It did a good job.The following day, I did the same startup, but was getting over 400* temp swings.Home Depot took it back, so they get 5 stars.Asmoke Cust Serv still hasn't responded to me, they get zero stars.
It's just ok. Temperature inside shows that it goes up and down a lot during cooking. Not consistent whatsoever, but the meat does continue to rise in temperature over time. It will get the job done. DO NOT use Lumberjack Pellets! It caught my unit on FIRE! They kept dropping down into the ash collecting tray while still burning and then it built up into a pile of fire underneath! Burned the paint off the tray both inside and out. And yes, I did use the adapter they tell you to use if using other brand pellets. So then I used their pellets and they worked out as normal like they say, they designed this grill to work with their own brand of pellets. Applewood. I can live with that.
I debated on whether or not I would buy this pellet smoker but glad I did. I only used it twice. I smoked some salmon on the second run. I charged my power station to 100% and it only used 4% of power after smoking for about an hour and a half. It cooked the fish pretty nicely. I plan on testing it some more so I will be updating my review if I notice any issues.
Horrible quality control. Temp prob and board failed. Temperature swings to over 600 degrees when on smoke setting. After back and forth with asmoke they sent me a new board and probe that I had to change. Still doesn’t work. Now auger no longer shuts off and temps continue to rise. Tried reaching out to company again and they are less than helpful. Want to give me a $50 refund and keep the grill “because it works for skewers and burgers”. So if you are looking for a pellet grill that’s useful, stay away from this one. Because you might as well throw your money in the trash.
This smoker is a total scam. I purchased one in March and it has never worked. It’s not made in Texas it’s made in China. The 800 number goes nowhere. We found a number in Washington DC and have been attempting to get a new control panel shipped for 3 months. No one ever returns calls when you leave a message. This company should not be sold as the 10 year warranty is useless.Walmart is a good company and they have agreed to refund my money and send me a shipping label. They did the right thing!
