I have had multiple astro a50's and astro a20's and these are definitley my favourite (on ps5) The sound modes it defualts too aren't the best so if you change the equaliser on the logitech G app it makes it sound 10x better. Good bass, good treble and its still easy to hear directions of footsteps and other in game sounds. The only issues I have, is that sometimes when connected to your phone the volume of the ps5 goes to max and you have to press the volume down button once to return to normal volume and sometimes the headset won't turn off without enabling Bluetooth pairing mode which then allows you to turn it off. The build quality is a lot better than the a20's and even the a50's don't feel as good in my opinion as the a30's. Being able to connect to Bluetooth while gaming is a huge positive for me. The ear pads aren't quite as comfy as the a20's but the noise cancelling makes up for it and it is still comfortable enough to wear for long gaming sessions (5+ hours). The in-built microphone quality is ok but definitley could be improved in the future. The boom mic quality is similar to other astro headsets and still isn't the best but it is a lot better than some other headsets I have had in the same price range. The fact that it's so easy to connect to and change the headset settings through the app is also a deal breaker for me. Overall I really do enjoy the astro a30's.
