i bought this because the standard a50 headset has poor background sound cancelling because the ear pieces are made of mesh. These finally allowed me to play without having to hear anything besides the audio.Shouldnt have to buy them separately since the a50s are 500 and these are an extra 100. But an important accessory nonetheless.It doesnt stuff up the clarity of the sound though. Sound comes through with alot of bass. Still habent fixed that yet.

The isolating mod kit is really great for environments were you need that extra sound isolation. They are extremely comfy especially for extended use, The sound quality is more direct. Cleaning does get annoying but its very easy to clean since they are magnetically attach

The bass sounds much better and noise cancellation is great. Footsteps in game are noticeably louder. A good buy.
I bought these to cancel out noise as advertised on ASTRO'S website. Unfortuantely.. i found that they are not super great in that department unless youre absolutely blaring music. I would reccomend if youre looking to make your headset more comfortable though :) they are super comfortable!
Bought this for the Blue headset with PS4 / PC compatibility ie Gen 3 - This headset will not fit that headset. Product as described otherwise with faux leather ear cups and headband support.
Really worth the upgrade changes the sound quite a lot to more noise cancelling and more punch on bass. Adds more immersion to games and music.
This mod kit adds extra cushion and makes the already great feeling headphones, just that much more comfortable, these are a must have.
