This product is great, and does everything you want. I had been having issues with my prior modem router with lag/drop outs etc. The Asus is stable, fast, very easy to set up, NBN compatible (despite not saying this on the box) and has an easy to navigate system if you are looking for finer details.I've connected my speakers through the wired ports and have 10+ devices connected without issues. Constantly get speeds advertised by my internet provider.Got this on a black friday sale and am very very happy with my purchase. The changing colours are super cute and although I don't think they can be turned off they are not intrusive.

Pros: NoneCons: I may have had a faulty unitItem did not want to set up at all, the app was useless and manual setup just didn't want to connect. The automatic setup option just didn't pick anything up and I can see a lot of people had this problem. When it was set up, the speed was better but the range was way worse than even my old decrepit router.

Brilliant dsl modem/router which I purchased to replace the awful one issued by my ISP. My network is now far more stable and my Smart home devices much more responsive with no dropouts.This is also the first time I've used Scan and was very impressed indeed. Brilliant comms from them throughout and will definitely use again and recommend. A+

Couldn't get the modem connected to my NBN connection. I phoned my internet providers technical department aswell as ASUS Tech support. No one could could get this modem working. Returned the modem for a refund and went for another.
Pros: Soo much better than those abysmal routers the likes of Sky and BT gave out. We constantly had engineers at our house telling us our poor wifi was our fault. No had a single problem since binning the BT router and setting this one up. We have 5 people with multiple gadgets, consoles and age ranges and use it for work, streaming, gaming, studying. Best router ever and so very easy to set up.
Pros: Easy to setup, if you have your ISP PPPOE settings ready in hand it will take less than 5 minutes to setup to get online.Also there is a list of different common ISP's (Unfortunately mine wasn't on it)Cons: After using the modem router for a month, maybe the WiFi signal could be stronger, but at the same time it's double the range the ISP gave me
Pros: Quick to sync up to DSL and has been rock solid for over 2 weeks now and Wi-Fi covers the whole house. The previous ASUS DSL router (DSL-AC88U) required rebooting at least once a week, as it would stop operating because of a memory leakage issue. This is a far superior router and runs ASUS in-house OS, so receives regular updates. The previous router ran a third party OS, which hadn't been updated in over 2 years.
Pros: Good looking , it build-in modem support DSL Boardband network ,no external modem need .Cons: The CPU of the router used is quite old(2019 chipset) ,512MB ram is not enough for today's ASUS firmware . After first boot up and complete the first time setting ,it all really used 80% more RAM. Some function is buggy because of Asus firmware problem .
This Asus modem/router is just the upgrade our home network needed. It was a breeze to set up using the Asus router app, it has also filled in all our dead spots throughout the home working flawlessly with Asus Ai-mesh. Haven’t had a single device drop off the network yet, that’s with an average of 30 - 40 devices connected at once.
